I got this DVD and the film was rely good but at the end this song came on well I just had to play it over & over again..............this should be put out for our troops to let them know we love them all and that they should be back home and not out there.
@wayne71821 Amazing!! Bless the boys!! My grandfather fought at Ypres 1 and the Somme and then went home...he joined the Royal Flying Corp and flew night time bombing raids over Germany 1917-18 !! Bless the boys!! This movie soooo fits with the stories he would tell when I was a teen. WE are here because of the brave allied forces and our Canadian hero's. With pride and dignity, on behalf of all the boys....our prayers go out to our troops wherever they are. We love you forever...don't die!

Thank you! I posted this to my facebook for Remembrance Day. I'm torn though; this version is so beautiful and emotional. but there is something raw and heart-wrenching about Paul Gross's original. I guess the interesting thing is that they show the different perspectives; his from the soldier's pov, this one from the pov of those left behind.
