Hey man! I just wanted to ask, why are there so many parasites in the world when I just started it, I've tried over 4 different new worlds and in all of them after day one I'd get brutally discombobulated by the enderman, how should I fix this issue?

Dude the Scrap and run mod is Breeding clones mods of this and I love it
bruh i really love this mod cause it reminds of me scape run but sadly it has no configs so when i try to add it to my high fantasy modpack that I made, the mobs are litteraly everywhere that it ruins every other mod cause they spawn in day and night and even inside your own home so its hard to see any other mob when everything is mutated
yeah they don't spawn randomly now, because with the latest update, they only spawn at night or in darkness!
@@TeamAbyssalOfficial dam sound great already know im gonna add it back now. also heard about u making only the parasites attack passive mobs so maybe ill get to see some alive alex mobs. (btw are u planning to ever add bosses like how SRP has assimilated enderdragons and those flying abominations)

Honestly this mod feels like it closer to vanilla(almost like all 1.19.2 mods) and now I see that mobs from this have more textures than in SaRp.
And maaan, atleast this mod has something to counter those parasites and not just say to you download other mods, that became useless too because of "very balanced" mechanic called aDaPtAtIoN. Or this mod say to you sit X hours in config files to make it playable.
For some reason whenever I am in a structure the mobs instantly teleport into the house with me and move really fast. I think there are still some bugs xD
Not bug lol enderman is supposed to do that. But in the next version, it will be harder for him to teleport to you.
@@TeamAbyssalOfficial could you at least make it less common considering I am attacked by 4-6 teleporting mobs every minute?
@@caradejjo Well it's because they spot you from far away, but in the next update the distance will be decreased to half of the original distance
I wonder if the muta mobs and the parasite mobs attack each other like competing infections.
Quite possibly, the wyrms of nyrus mod does so because Srps configs need to be set so they have whitelisted mobs to not attack

Dodge around and kite infected until you can get two strains attacking each other. ha
They will, both creatures are made to be raci- I say attack any form of life other than its own, although the truth is that SRP stomps
You also got a potion effect when u are near them what is it called and what does it do?

@@epikorange5983 when you compare srp and this on paper srp you would obviously think srp is better but when it comes to gameplay........................yeah not so much
and the enderman keeps the annoying powers from srp yay!!

i'm just glad there's smth similar to srp in the later version of minecraft bc always having to have it in 1.12 was kinda annoying

Can i ask, what version of forge you currently used? Becoz when i try it at Forge 45.1.17 (MtC 1.0.3 with geckolib 4.2) it keep crashed 😢
Change the forge version to a newer / older one instead

Are assimilated mobs able to infect other mobs, or are only the parasites able to do that?
They are able to infect every mob that can be infected. However, in the next update, I plan on making them attack only hostile mobs, so then only the necroptor and reductor can infect all types of mobs!
@asestefan3922 Oh well If you plan on doing that, then can you implement a config option which lets you choose which mobs can infect others? I actually liked the idea of assimilated mobs spreading the infection (I wanted to start a zombie-like scenario lol). Also your mod is super cool! I can tell you're putting a lot of work into it, I can't wait to see your future updates 😁

This is actually a lot like Scape and Run: Parasites, but for 1.18.2 .

Srp would definitely consider they have dmg adaptation
SRP stomps, there is simply no comparison, the weakest SRP boss solos all the verse
Be very careful with this mod it can infect blocks too which makes more creatures spawn!

I actually think that from the newest update, this enderman is as op as the one from srp
@@TeamAbyssalOfficialNot really, although it can also teleport other creatures, it does so to a lesser extent, in addition to the fact that SRP's is much fiercer, with more damage and teleports more.
@@J-o-s-h-u-a Yeah I know, it's our mod and we have modified the mod so that it's not that hard as srp is
Like 4 mobs teleport to me every minute.
Did that get changed in the newest update? I have nerfed the enderman A LOT.

If similar always means ripoff then u should throw every opinion of yours in the bin. Similar does not mean copying, thus in the future the mod will have more originality whatsoever but if you don't understand anything at all then there is nothing I can do about it
@@TeamAbyssalOfficial honestly prefer this over SRP, since it’s actually available on ~multiple versions~ of Minecraft, especially 1.19 and such. I did one play through of SRP and was very annoyed to find out it wasn’t leaving 1.12

@mattcharuka6134 I believe they do want to get SRP on the newer versions at somepoint, but they want to "complete" the mod before they start doing that... so who knows when that will happen
