This is what pure joy is, the all band with a smile on their faces and the crowd without smartphones.
Small venues are amazing, we all need to support them world wide!!!
27:39 Davidian
48:10 Death Church
2 of the best songs...in no particular order
Shout out to all the lucky bastards who were at that gig...
Sounded good
@david morison R u deaf? You're certainly fucking stupid.
At 19:00, Robb talks about their very 1st show in '92 at a house party...I was there. My buddy Tony was playing drums and MH borrowed my PA. I think they only played like 4-5 tunes.
Thank you Kanye, very cool
That's so cool man. Super jealous.
Sick
Tony Costanza passed away
@@tcollier5460 If they're still friends he'd know that I think.
Ths line up has chemistry, you cant buy that.
@david morison can you share that video please.
No mean to brag, but my band has played on smaller stages
Hey out there playing regardless of size brotendo. 🤘
🤟
🤘🤘
Are you MFH?
iv'e seen loads of bands in pubs bars before they were famous
Kontos is killing it. Jesus.
@david morison such intelligent discourse. You are an asset to the cultural discussion and humanity at large.
There best drummer
First saw these supporting Slayer when Burn My Eyes came out... intense is not the word!!!
Neither were slayer- so STFU
Epic concert! Not many big bands have balls to face a show like this and f***ing success!
Can’t believe I’m just coming across this. So sick!
Sepultura cover feels like if Max was back with Sepultura and could sing live again!
Machine Head is one of those rare success stories where a band can remain viable, exciting, new, headbanger worthy and "knock your socks off" kick-ass tunes!!
With a different line up almost every album too. It’s pretty much the Rob Flynn band. Which I am fine with 😊
@@nickb2510should just call it Flynnhead at this point
I can’t thank Kerrang enough! These K! Pit gigs are the BEST!!
the power of this lineup is becasue 80s hetfield is back and now playing bass
To see slayer, hatebreed, Metallica or cannibal corpse playing in this place should be really cool!
In my hometown in CT i watched Hatebreed and 100 demons play in a local bar before their first date on Ozzfest.. Defiantly a whole different experience than a local band in a place that small
Lars would have no problem fitting that week tiny ass kit up there
Fucking Slayer !!!
Cannibal Corpse sucks.
@@jnero79 i was there
4:59 I can't help looping on that riff with the crowd jumping just in front of them. My god how much I would have given to be there at that moment !!!
I can hear this first album ever and ever and ever
I love this kind of performance!!!! Close to folk is so unforgettable! I’d like to be there ❤Machine Head is my favourite super band for more than 25 years! I remember my younger years on 1996 in Ukraine I was surrounded a company of my long hair friends simultaneously shaking our heads with a big pleasure listening to Machine Head and drinking a beer. We were full of energy!)))
Love how they are all smiling, playing with such tiny and devoted crowd is a treat when you are as big as machine head
the teenager in me loved this
Wow the band is Damm solid and the sound mixing is simply perfect
I used to listen to them back in 97, they are still around! Long live MachineHead!
Love Machine Head. I've been listening to this band since the beginning and still. Amazing gig. 💀
What a powerful moment!!! All the shows should be like this! Very underground
i love how close to the people they are, it would be a nice moment enjoy his music so closely. greetings from chile!
This is the best thing I've seen in a long time. I absolutely love Machine Head, I remember buying "Burn My Eyes" as a teen and I fell in love with them from day one.
Love the gig... Sounds all the time in my house... Great covers
I love seeing big bands come back to a stage where they can’t move. So cool. Can’t wait to see them in February. !!!
See ya at the fox brotha!!
This is epic just because robb used his original screaming voice on thousand lies live
30 minutes set in the K! PIt as usual... With an extra 30 minutes of covers!! Great job Machine Head and Thank you!
in real, this was the best OF THE BEST "live" from MACHINE HEAD I've ever seen, even they must have found, what vibration, TA TOP band
WOW. It's not often I come across an hour long video and resist pausing it for later. I literally could not turn my head away.
ENGAGING, AMAZING ENERGETIC PERFORMANCE!
I wish I was there!
Jealous of all of you!
Audio mix was perfect on this video, should be released as a live album!
This is awesome!! I would love to see machinehead in a small place like this!!
Amazing show!!!great to see MH with first members!!!!Robb Is still full power!!!good!!!!
Great old school Machine Head 👌
wow this would be a bucket list type of show. I have seen MH live probably 5 times and they are a great live band
Love seeing Chris on drums! \m/ MOAR!
最高!懐かしいー😄20年くらい前良く聴いてました!
Insanely epic fun!!! Wish I coulda let loose in that pit🤘🖤
This band really respects their public, they enjoy playing , they don't do it for money grab. Talented and honest, so rare nowadays in music
This was class to watch
Love machine head! 🤘🏼
Chris Kontos is a beast on the drums
This was a fun watch they are having a blast 🤘🏽
I just honestly love how rob will never stop! You can see how much this man loves playing/giving us his beautiful, incredible talent❤ machine fucking head!
Awesome 👏 thank you Kerrang!
What a killer show!!!!
long time fan...cool to see them in a more relaxed environment..just chillin...but chris's fucking drumming..just killing it...good shit.
King. Saw them first time in Sweden 94. So good...
Weird seeing them play in front of a small crowd....but I just love how happy they all look reuniteing so glad they're back with the original members even tho adam duce ain't here and jared isn't apart of that era but he still kicks ass
LOVE MACHINE HEAD FROM MY COUCH!!!
"Love Machine Head" is a really confusing band name. "Love Machine Head From My Couch" is an even more confusing band name.
F**king excellent as always, MH deserves so much more credit. Looking forward to the next stage of MH.🤘
one of my favorite bands here lads
machine fucking head
pure metal
Fucking classic performance. Really this is one of the best metal performances of all time and I think time will prove that. To be in that bar and part of that energy would have been a privilege. The production team at Kerrang is amazing. They capture what it's like to be part of live performances in a small space like no one else.
This is where metal is meant to be experienced, not arenas.
that's why Robb says they've been doing their "an evening with" shows and headlining smaller venues by themselves. they were playing big festivals before and decided they wanted to just keep playing smaller shows like they have been for the last several years
intimacy over size all the time. its meant to be expirienced so small. i can understand it working for other types of music. half decent band in a packed 3-500 person venue over anything else. Ive seen NOFX play in a club and if i had to guess id say it was ten times more intense than frontrow at a festival gig - in every aspect.
also love these vids. check tiny desk concerts if you havent allready.
You’re joking? Metal was made for arenas. Huge light shows, pyro, replica bomber planes if you’re Motörhead...
On the other hand, whilst I love the intimate atmosphere and revelry of a dive bar, metal music turns to mud inside them. A million mile an hour echo bouncing off all the walls.
@@Jimboy1611 metal is about the music not fancy lights and pyro.
Disagree. In arena it would sound louder and more powerful))) and you can't have a huge circle pit in a small venue like this one.
Mega goosebumps.
Burn My Eyes was/is one of the best debuts in metal history imo 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yes!
LOVE MACHINE HEAD FROM ARGENTINA!!!!!!!!
nice setlist, took me by surprise with covers
Whoua great live!
thunderkiss 65' absolutely kills!!
This is just fkn awesome!
Chris and Logan kick f**n' asses. Great show!
Awesome show!!!
Sound is insane on this one, whoever mixed it did an awesome job. So f*§%ing heavy! 🤘🏼
This band kept me going through the 90's and I picked up on Unto the Locust and will never look back. Robb Flynn is fuckin awesome and one of my heroes... Respect Mr. Flynn
LOVE MACHINE HEAD FROM BRASIL!!!!!!!!
😂😂😂 Territoryyyyyyyy
Killer set, loving the exodus and Sepultura 🤟
I would've loved to haave been there. Steve did a world class job on the mix!
Holy s**t!!! This is insane!!!!🤘🏻🔥👊🏻🎸🎶🔥🤘🏻
LOVE IT!!! THANKS!!!
Oh man, i wish i could have been there 😍 it remembers of my First Concert ever! It was machine Head in Cologne live Music hall around 2003
I tell you what this makes me SO grateful I saw MH multiple times in 94... I mean what is this show!
Holy shit! It would be a dream for me to see a Machine Head concert so close!
There is no possible comparison between a concert like this one or one at an arena. Metal is about proximity, contact and physical exposure!
this is by far machine heads' best show in the last 20 years.!!
TQ!🤘🏼KERRANG!🤘🏼HaiL!MACHiNE HEAD🤘🏼Greetings from KK Sabah,Malaysia🇲🇾👊🏼🤘🏼
So nice to see Logan back... and that setlist!
Great Drummers make great bands. I dont need the cool guy stuff from Rob, but Kontos in my view recorded some of the best drums in metal. And he brings it live, after all these years. Killer!
Yeah! The difference is huge from the other drummers in MH! He's the man!
Yes, this is fucking badass and inspiring, due to his age and time away from the drums. If he could bottle what drives him I'd buy it ten times.
kontos's groove, feel and power on the b.m.e record was phenomenal. its such a shame he never capitalised on such a great recording in the years following it but im glad to see he is putting it out there again and slaying as good as ever
Plus he is rocking a kit half the size of what he is used to and slaying it!
Yep and bands who lose great drummers are never the same for example smashing pumpkins
A band having fun!
Beautiful 🔥👊🏻
Que banda e que show.
From Brasil 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Awesome show.. this is sick
Ohhhh I have had an accident in my pants! So wish I'd been there. Manchester was awesome, but I would have preferred going to this!
Absolute brutal drumming
Epic! Nice sounds
Jared on the vocals on Thunder Kiss '65 was badass!
TheMDbauS Yeah, he sounds killer
Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast! i was 15 when i discovered Machine Head
Same here
I was 20, epic day dude 🤘
i remember seeing Machine head with a good friend,it must of been 98,it was at the uea in Norwich nothing still has touched that gig, well maybe Motorhead!!
THE most metal thing I've ever witnessed....\,,/ 🖤❤️🖤
This was super rad !!
Lately I've been none stop listening to burn my eyes.. Hopefully this OG line up remains fucking sick gig
I think the is the most lit k pit video I’ve seen.
This is fucking insane! Beautiful!🤘
This is true metal spirit!
Jeden z nejlepších živáků ever.
This is great
Fucking major props to Kontos at the end. Just proving age doesn't matter with metal. Keep drumming Chris! MH!!! Fuck it ALL.
This is so fucking cool!!!!! All the smiles true bandmanship🤘🏻☠️🤘🏻
