Yeah, this is a Top one for me cuz it got me through a hard night. (I had surgery and couldn't breath properly afterwards due to tacks up my nose. That's when i discovered this song. I had it on Repeat. ^_^) My fave song though is Lucifer.
I kept an eye on them since Ring Ding Dong era but got knocked out during Lucifer, which later I found addictive too (shame I didn't check out the rest of each album). Sherlock was their best era to me (Taemin's vocal improvement impressed me). And then this OMG it's like dream come true

i set this song as my alarm to wake up for school when i was depressed and suicidal. i haven’t seen the video in years but this song and shinee in general literally saved my life by reminding me that happiness and fun still existed. when Jonghyun passed and his note said he hoped people thought he had done well, i just remembered that for me he did soooo much more than that. they are literally the reason i’m alive almost 13 years after discovering them in the Boys Over Flowers OST. i wish i could tell them that

yeah, i know. i think western people have some kind of stigma related to asians. and the fact that, for exemple, guys are different from the westerns ones, doesn't help a lot. we see asians dressing and having weird hairstyles that are many times related to the homossexual culture, just because they aren't sloopy and buff, or don't fit into the macho stereotype. i don't think the west is prepared for the east, not yet, not while people are still so narrow minded

2013 was THE year for SHINee. We got 2 amanzingggg albums, a repackage version of the two (seriously misconceptions of us is still my fav kpop album of all time), and a mini album which was also amazing, all in one year. Plus they won their first daesang for artist of the year 😭 2013 was such a great year to be a Shawol. I'm so emotional

I'll never forget the night this premiered. It was on my 40th b-day, and my boyfriend was just drifting off to sleep. I stayed up to watch this video. As soon as they hit that chorus, I jumped up, ran into the bedroom, yanked him out of bed and said, " YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!" It's one of my many favorites. they always make me happy.
