Man, Block B and old BTS used to carry the khiphop-idol scene back then and they were soo good at it. Kpop boy groups nowadays can't hold a handle to them no matter how they manufacture this new groups.
There have always been fanwars... I can’t remember a single time when there wasn’t some conflict or another. To me it sounds like you either weren’t involved in the fanwars or weren’t deeply involved enough in the groups/fancommunities to notice them. I don’t blame you though- it was super hard as an international fan that can’t speak Korean to learn about and get involved in groups until kpop started gaining more international recognition. Of course, I hate fanwars and am in no way advocating for them. I believe that, as kpop fans, we should focus our energy on supporting our artists and bettering our own fandoms (cleansing out koreaboos and sasaengs) rather than attacking other groups. Sadly it’s usually the koreaboos and sasaengs starting the conflicts and preventing anyone from doing anything about the real problem (them).

Im so glad Block B is gets the appreciation they deserve. Kind of sad that it wasn’t a few years ago, but better later then never. Disclaimer: A lot of people feel offended, since they interpreted my words as “they weren’t popular” or so. I never said that. They were huge and popular, but still were really mistreated as idols in the industry. Also if some would look at the comments, before other fandoms came from there favorites performing, they would see that the comment sections were DRY for years. So now I’m just glad, Block B is being highly popular among many “new” k pop fans again.
