    If you notice air bubbles are coming up the hose. place the hose and drain tank above the bleeder valve to avoid this.

      You don't have to do anything with the ABS pump. But if air is trapped in the brake system, for example when changing cables, you must use a computer to bleed the brake. In the future I will make another video on how to bleed the brakes.

      You don't need "speed bleeders" to do this job, it's just faster and cleaner this way. Check your motorcycle application here www.speedbleeder.com/bikechart.htm . You can order from them. If you decide to do this without speed bleeders I bleed the clutch traditional way ruclips.net/video/KsZsqeAL7co/видео.html just adopt this technique to the brakes (use brake fluid of course :) ). This may help too ruclips.net/video/l2IxuxCMZ84/видео.html

    I’m about to do this on 2017 R9T classic- I received the speedbleeders I ordered few days ago-
    Question: once you install the speed bleeders and go through the process, do you then replace them with the original valve or leave them on the bike?
    Thanks

    • @gamotur
      @gamotur  7 месяцев назад +1

      When you're done, simply tighten the Speed Blender (approximately 10 ft-lbs). There is no reason to replace it with the original one, that's why we call it SPEED BLEEDER
      Make sure to leave the 👍 😀

    • @ijaxon6675
      @ijaxon6675 3 года назад

      There is a process to bleed the ABS unit. You'd need a GS911 to do it. They are expensive devices but worth it. Other tools can scan but cannot active the ABS pump to flush, only reset codes.

      Hi. The Speed Bleeder acts as a non-return valve, allowing the fluid to be pumped (bleed) without having to unscrew and screw in the bleed nipple. I bleed the clutch with a regular bleeder so you can watch it here ruclips.net/video/KsZsqeAL7co/видео.html

  • @cristoforopontikas
    @cristoforopontikas Год назад

    Are you sure that changing the oil like this is correct?
    I mean the correct procedure for all brake fluids consists of 4 phases.
    1. Open the brake valve
    2. Press the brake to make exit the fluid
    3. Close the brake valve
    4. Release the brake to it’s start position.
    Repeat those 4 steps several times
    Thanks

  • @problemslayer3538
    @problemslayer3538 Год назад

    Why are you using the syringe to pull fluid from the master cylinder when you already have the speed bleeder ? All you needed to do was open your speed bleeder and pull your brake lever to push the fluid out the system. Then top up the master cylinder as you did

    • @gamotur
      @gamotur  Год назад

      I'd rather push new fluid through the system than dirty old fluid. It takes 30 seconds more, but it's worth it in my opinion. Thanks for watching 👍

    • @problemslayer3538
      @problemslayer3538 Год назад

      @@gamotur yes I understand that, but what I'm saying is you don't need the syringe for anything. You took fluid from the reservoir when you could have just pushed it through by pulling the lever. You still then put fresh fluid in the reservoir which pushes the old fluid out.
