- Is it possible to beat Hardcore Nuzlocke using only Pokemon species beginning with the letter O? I'll be playing Pokemon Shield to see if this challenge can be completed!

The Hardcore Nuzlocke rules for this challenge:
1. Only catch the first Pokemon on each route that begins with the letter N, or evolves into a Pokemon that does.
2. If a Pokemon faints, it must be released.
3. For Gym Battles/E4, must be at the highest Pokemon's level cap at the start of the fight.
4. No items in battle.
5. Play on Set Mode.
6. No Legendaries.
7. Duplicates Clause - I can re-roll an encounter if I have already caught one during the run.
8.Pokemon cannot be evolved if further evolutions don't start with N.
9. Pokemon that evolve into N Pokemon can be used even if they don't start with N (e.g., Blipbug is okay).

Genuinely one of the best on the team too! I was amazed how long Onix lasted and how relatively unused Orbeetle was.
Me too honestly. A lot of the trainers in this game have Dark-type moves for coverage, so getting Orbeetle and Oranguru into battle was tough.

The only Pokemon that survived was named Odyyseus, which makes sense because in Greek mythology, Odyyseus was the only survivor of the journey (odyysey) a bunch of people went on.
I like how you matched the pokemon’s names with their first letter, it made it really easy to keep track of them!
Unlike most other trainers in Galar, Oleana actually has a type-diverse team.
It does still have a unifying theme, though: all of her Pokemon are especially feminine (except Garbodor, and even then you could probably stretch logic enough to make it feminine). In fact, Froslass, Salazzle, and Tsareena are exclusively female species. I guess they went with Milotic over something like Vespiquen so that she would have a nice Fire/Water/Grass core.

I think it represents her as a character, beautiful on the outside but her ace (personallity) is literal garbage.
Also Leon. Thank goodness he isn't the undefeatable Champion for nothing.

Oddish was 100% the MVP of this run!
Max Overgrowth doesn't change the weather. The reason there was no sun on the last turn is because Gigantamax Charizards fire type max move doesn't make sun.
Mold breaker also doesn't deactivate guts
Honestly Octillery is one of my favorite mons! I've gotten to use it few times recently and his wide move pool makes it such a versatile mon

I absolutely cannot believe that Orchid made it to Leon!!! This was so fun, and using one of my favorite pokemon (Obstagoon) was so cool to watch. Like always, your videos are an absolute delight!

Pretty sure that's not how Mold Breaker works. Mold Breaker only ignores defensive abilities of pokemon being attacked by a pokemon with Mold Breaker. That Haxorus was just bulky.

You know, I really love this series. After you run out of letters please try something like "pokemon that end with the letter U" or "Pokemon that begin with letter A, but only japanese original names" or something. Or maybe "only pokemon that have numbers multiple of 3 on pokedex number"

Honestly onix is super underrated imo. 160 def, 70 Speed and rock tomb and screech is so good early game. Sure it does no damage but it's actually a really good support mon and wall

Dynamax pokemon will make it incapable of flinching or being forced from battle. It will also be immune to any attacks that are based on weight, such as Low Kick, while its Dynamaxed.
I don’t have many strong feelings about “O” Pokémon in general, but I’d probably vote Overqwil as being my least favourite. Something about its face is very uncanny valley, so I don’t want it on screen much. 😂

Can't wait for the next 4 (if this is still a thing). R and Q are going to be a bit of a challenge (okay, a lot of a challenge maybe for Q), but with some favorites of mine hopefully involved, and then it's time for basically the best letter for this challenge. There are so many good pivots with an S. Snorlax, Shedinja, Skarmory, Scizor, Steelix, Slowbro/king, Spiritomb (Sableye), Seismitoad, Sandaconda, multiple starters and o right, Salamence. There are too many good Nuzlocke Pokémon with an S! No way to use them all.

You could've also got Omanyte or Omastar in the Crown Tundra.
He'd have to get past the level 70 roadblock of Peony, and even then Omanyte only appear as low as level 60.
@GamingWithNave he'd still be losing one pokemon just to get past that battle, Even if he didn't count the white out as a loss-for a pokemon that would only be there for Leon and nothing else. At that point you might as well stick to the six that actually got you there
