@@ChelseyLinden I know. It hurts a lot of us to watch John Paul go through this and I wouldn't blame them for wanting to get rid of George straight away. But the reality is, it's not that simple, especially since he's a cop so they wouldn't expect a policeman to be the abuser. That's the aim of Hollyoaks, the aim that anyone can be an abuser regardless their position. People complain about the storyline dragging on for too long but they wouldn't stop and think about why it has been continuing for months in the first place.
As a domestic abuse surviver, John Paul is in denial and doesn't know his worth, it will hit him soon that HE ISN'T THE PROBLEM and he will be a bad b again in no time, but if your reading this and are suffering please talk to someone, there's always light at the end of the tunnel, you are worth it and you are loved💜

This is horrible but sadly happens a lot. I was in abusive relationship and at first didn't know it was abuse as always thought it was my fault.

I don't think I've seen Brendan punch Ste as hard as I've seen George just punch John-Paul , he had such a murderous intent in his eyes, bone-chilling, I wonder how Ste is going to react
Yes, and Ste used to beat Amy in the past. George is physically so much stronger than JP aswell. Brendan was manipulating but Ste was smart enough to see through his manipulation so he wanted to get away from Brendan but at the same time he was drawn to him so it was complicated. Finally Brendan admitted that he needed help when he was beating Ste. Finally Ste beat Brendan up with a baseball bat that put Brendan in hospital and he could understand why.
Sorry but you can clearly see that John Paul’s reaction in the video was from fear and he didn’t start it but because George is so manipulative, John doesn’t see it and neither would anyone else and it’s heartbreaking, hope someone finds out soon and John Paul gets away😕
Still trying to figure out exactly what JP sees in George, I mean other than him being good looking, he has less personality than a piece of wood. I'd rather watch paint dry than go out with someone like that smh.

George is getting worse and worse, and I hate what he is doing to John Paul. So manipulative. He finds the smallest thing to teach JP a lesson, and he gets easily jealous when he spend time with other people, and he is making him feel/think he is in the wrong, and making him "crawl back" beggin' for forgiveness. He'll think George is this forgiving person and maybe too good for him, like he is lucky that he's still with him, when George is the evil bad guy, that he should stay away from. I so hope he will realise he is being manipulated or that Sally or someone else will help him realise and get away, but from the trailer they get engaged, but I hope they break up and George gets in Prison before there is an actual wedding.

Mac played mind games with him and also Marnie played mind games so James had two horrible parents but in different ways. George is a dangerous psychopath for sure. The time when Kyle fooled James to believe that he hit him, James at once seeked professional help. So anyone saying that James is a psychopath is wrong.

Whilst I don't agree with what you're saying, I think you're right about how stupid his writing is. When he was with Craig he was pretty lairy and not above getting in fights and winning them. They bring him back and then decide to forget all his previous character development and write him as this downtrodden suffering character.

@@koma-ho5yq george and brendan are two different characters. yes, they're both abusers and i'm in no way condoning brendan's actions. but george has no moral conscience. he does what he does for power and control, and to ruin peoples lives. brendan was a terrified boy lashing out at the world because his dad had taught him so much hate and filled him with so much anger that he thought the world was against him. brendan made mistakes but he was a good person deep down. george is evil. there isn't a single good bone in his body. brendan truly loved and cared for ste. george only cares about himself.

@@koma-ho5yq i didn't say that. it's brendan's complexity that made him the best character in oaks history. i didn't mean mistakes to sound the way it did, cause the things he did weren't mistakes - i know that. but brendan was seriously messed up in the head and i stand by what i said about him being a good person deep, deep down. the man he turned into stemmed from what his dad did to him as a child. you have to be willing to try and understand all sides of the story to fully accept the different views of fans when it comes to certain characters, and if you're not then you have no room to argue. but if you really hate brendan, then that's perfectly fine. as long as you accept that some people loved and believed in him, then we don't have a problem. there's no right or wrong answer when it comes to liking a character.
I didn’t watch the show when that storyline was happening but I’ve seen bits and I’ve never really understood the hype with their relationship. Brendon may have been an interesting character but personally if they brought him back I wouldn’t want him with Ste. Ste apparently also abused Amy as well
They need to break up before more damage is done! They both badly need help!

Teach those kids about gaslighting, Hollyoaks! Playing a chameleon & sociopath has to be one of the most fun parts on a soap. Good job casting an actor with inaccessible good looks! There's just no telling what made George this sadistic & insecure. I can't say I've ever met anyone that matches his profile. Usually the hot ones have been desired too much to be so obsessed with manipulation, control and punishment. If anything, they're repelled by the behaviour from people trying to use it against them in the past. But maybe I'm just lucky. George should've totally dated Ryan. That would've been one radioactive relationship and probably landed both of them in the river.😁✊
