The van "it quells, tells, hells bells, miss-spells, knocks me on my knees. You've done a good job, bob on, kettle on, have a cup of tea. Once your out-bound, leave town, with Bluie, you'll be in good company." Nice whistling.
Renaissance Man! I was hoping that I didn’t miss this part. You did not disappoint! Hoping that you’ll show the next part of this genius build. Amazing!
You are good at van conversions, you try your best at being meticulous. You could make a living doing that for others, but also film the process for your youtube channel. It's been fun to watch you fit out your van and there are more camping channels than anything else. Of course you will still need to have adventures with Blue on video.
I probably could do bespoke van builds but I’d take too long and not make enough money. Filming it and making videos is making me next to nothing but I love it. 😬
@BUSHMANandBLUE you would probably get more lucrative sponsorships on van builds too. As you do more and more, you will learn what matters and get quicker and quicker. It is still about making videos, but someone is paying you for the van build at the same time as you are making the video, nobody pays you for the walk up the hill.
I use a tarp over my swing out doors flop over the rear roof held down on roof ans side with several strong magnets when I want to use the open-rear in the rain. Again, your great imagination, skills, athleticism puts all other youtubers to shame!
Absolutely brilliant. The ideas are great and you think everything through before executing it. Inspiring. Looking forward to seeing the van finished and in use.
Hi Al, the van looking great and ingenious use of space. Good to see you checked out RidgeMonkey products, as I said a must have for every campervan 🙂. their gear is great quality and a good price. Looking forward to the first van trip and putting the van through its paces, hope its all you were expecting 👍😊
I see the kayak has made it on the roof 👍 Took mine to Ullswater and Loch ness last week, loved it up there. That van is going to bring you hours of happiness😊
I saw a pretty genius set up here in Japan. A guy had his kitchen on his doors like you, but he had these panels over the windows that he could flip up to provide overhead cover on either side. Once done, he'd drop them and block out the windows. And he rigged up a small tarp across the doors when the wind picked up. I enjoy seeing innovation on vehicles like yours and his.
Well...that’s completely different to anything I’ve seen before & a stroke of f’ing genius...! Well played mate...great solution to space saving. .Wish.
You are quite literally the Bob Ross of Van Camping construction, Al! I don't understand half of what you're doing but have enjoyed every minute of this vid series - watching such creativity and engineering is surprisingly relaxing! 🤣 Measure twice, cut once and bob on!!! 😎👌 Miss Bluie dog, though 🥰
Wow! Such an ingenious design. If I could think of one idea would be an awning or tarp over the back doors in case of rain or whatever the British isles throw your way. I’ve missed your videos so hope you dont stop anytime soon. Maybe not try to make RUclips a full time job but mix with other projects??
It all looks so "simple" when it's finished, but it sure takes a lot of planning and hard work. Wishing you many tasty meals made in that kitchen, and many wonderful adventures in your van.
Just hit the like before i started watching and you didn't disappoint me. Like the van series, you have genius ideas. Can't wait to see where does it take you first.
Al, mate, that's awesome ! the Ridge Monkey cooking set up looks like the dogs bollocks, genius stuff. How about a roll out canopy from the roof out over the back doors for cooking in the rain? love all your vids. And just an fyi for all those punters at home who might be doing something similar :- not all types of stainless steel are magnetic.
The RidgeMonkey cooking gear works really well for that size of camper… any camper really. Yes that’s true with the magnetic. The actual back plates aren’t and I wish they were. Thanks Dave👊
Very cool cookset Al 😎👍😉 loving how you've kitted it out, I've done a Peugeot 208 with a kitchen in the boot with a sink and tap and work top plus fridge freezer and a Tentbox Lite on top 😎👍 I'll have to get it on RUclips soon... It'll be ready for our France and Switzerland and Italy trip in July... Love it how you think out of the box Al ... My girlfriend always says it to me lol ... Great vid 👍
Amazing use of small spaces Al. I’ve converted to ridge-monkey pan sets 👍👍 The Van build is one of the best I’ve seen and I’m sure will get copied . Hopefully one day might drop on ya . Enjoy ya van travels and stay safe 👊👊
I was fascinated with the creativity of your back door base that folds out for your kitchen. Loved the matching square pots/pans that fit on the square burner. A lot of others are going to duplicate what you've come up with. I like how you can hang your water from either door, easy access when needed for cooking. Good on ya, Al. Sadly, you could use all that space for Coffee instead of tea. You introduced me to Rivetnuts in a prior video. Excellent application & use of 'em on the back doors. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Brilliant video Al and some absolutely fantastic ideas for a van build. Though I can’t believe you did a quick Rolf Harris impression with the wobble board 😉😂😂😂😂
Brilliant, love the kitchen, its got all thats needed and dosnt take up any room. Have you considered making a cover that could span the 2 back doors when theyre open to provide shelter from the rain whilst cooking?
Amazing kitchen. Very clean lines and very good use of available space. The Ridgemonkey gear was a good find. Perfect for your use. Have you considered some kind of tarp setup for when it rains?
All ways watched your channel, when life allows me some peace and quiet to do so 😂 but I haven’t really followed the van build but will be watching the videos back and catching up, the thought you put into that little kitchen is shit hot mate well done lad ✌️
Absolute genius. Love your build. Please can I ask if you have a link to the gas canister round holder on the back door please. The round one that canister sits in please. Thank you xx
These van build vids are great 👍... I'm currently saving for a van myself, so will be using some (not all) ideas from these for my own build. I want to be personalised for myself, but some of these are great ideas. This is the sort of build I'm going for (with some differences).
Great creativity and attention to detail! Suggest checking out wear on shocks/struts since it seems like there is a bit of excessive sag/rebound when you sit/stand and Im sure you will have more load when traveling.

The Ridgemonkey cooking range is quite good, I have some of it, used when I go fishing.
The adjustable legs on the quad connect stove are perfect for a van that is never flat👌.

Brilliant Design of the "kitchen" Have I missed a full van tour somewhere. Cheers from Canada.

It looks brilliant, can’t wait to see it being used but you need a little awning/tarp over the back doors so you can still cook if it’s raining ♥️👍
