I'll say this on pretty much every pop punk related reaction I see from you guys, lol: you need to go back and react to Spanish Love Songs if you haven't heard them. They are a punk/pop (far more punk than pop, but they call themselves "grouch rock") band from, well, originally So/Cal but hey have scattered to the four winds across the country now. They have 3 albums (and a 4th that is a sort of ambient/electro reinterpretation of the third one one), the last 2 are the best. The song I think is a great place to start with is called "Losers". The singer, Dylan, writes some of the most relatable lyrics (one of the best lyricists in the scene), at least for those of us in the US, for people who are at least in their mid to late 20s and have been fucked by the system, etc. He's not afraid to sing about the hard topics and depression etc. And the music is so great. I've seen them live now twice, once they were opening for another band I'm surprised I don't see you cover here, The Wonder Years (the other great lyricist from that scene), given the other Pop/Punk bands you cover.
Just want to say I love your stuff guys, been a pleasure listening to the reviews and the enthusiasm for the pop punk revival. Also check out the band Broadside, if not for review for your own listening, great band!
