Regular in South West Florida is $3.25 the E85 at Race Track Gas station is $3.02 I. Did 9 gallons of 93 octane and 3.5 gallons of E85 and it said I was at 47 percent E85 on HP tuners my 2014 caprice PPV is flex fuel so it does have the sensor and HP tuners reads it.
You can run four of the charge air coolers by splitting charge air into two streams, then having each stream go through two of the coolers, and you will end up with close to the same pressure drop overall, but with four times the available cooling of the charge air. Imagine an engine with any PSI you wanted, but with the intake air almost right at ambient temperature.
Building a Hofer supplied 8.8l block. Also have ported Dart 2.25x1.88 iron heads,, 242/249 x .650 cam , 8.5:1, forged bottom, i/c. Forged bottom, all studded. No where near dyno yet. What twins? I like 7875s 1.25 a/r T4s as I can get a normal and a reverse rotation, 22lbs for tight packaging reasons.....Good or back pressure problem.
@@richardholdener1727Thanks for the quick response. Thats what I thought, I figured you had run them successfully, VSracing who sells them and should know... thinks they are too small and will have high backpressure...Im doubtful, not at 1200 or less. I just dont have the space in a marine doghouse for 40-45lbers hanging on my H2O aluminum logs,
GM had an offshore program that never took with the HP3 project. With ported factory head and intake they were making 550hp. Problem was it would cut into mercury sales and was dropped for money reasons.
If you don’t try, you will never fall, but you will never succeed either., that is the beauty of experience. Bravery is a virtue and caution where you must. You can’t know until you try.
Are you helping Chip on his straight 8? Im looking for info on the 8s,buick,olds,packard,pontiac and I believe chrysler built them and Id like to tune a buick that I found.
Larry hofer.. You will find this engine amazing,, Just a mixture of the best of the 454 and LS engine. Yep, boost will over come the poor short side Radius, but that is the same with all engines. Boost rules. Hank Slocum has an 8.1 making upwards of 2500 HP and hasn't broke the bottom end yet. don't
Over 1000 hp dude, watch the gazillion of videos Richard has posted, and then go over to the Sloppy channel and see at the clips of aluminum 6.0/6.2 vehicles he's tuned that make well over 700 routinely.

Story of my life, buddy. It's the slight detail that gets me caught up, making a 20 minute job take 2 hours 🙈🙉🙊 ahh, keeping life interesting

Mistakes are stupid if you don’t learn from it 😉

Cut twice and measure once can work, if you have some spare time. 😛
Maybe a hi ram style of intake so it will run higher rpm
Love the channel Im learning a lot. Do you think youll ever start showing full builds.
Will a truck turbo work on my BBC? The Pick a Part has loads of those?
two would be better

What do you think about boosting an aluminum SBE 6.2? Power/boost limit?
an ls3?
