This may be outdated hack tip as Netflix got wise to it and it no longer blocks ads if it once did. They force you to pay for higher than basic otherwise in advertising and inconveniencing you they make back the money they lost. They even force Netflix subscription for Netflix themed mobile games in order to play it

Phil Shaw nope. Netflix has been testing different ways to promote their original content. So this will just turn off those tests for you. Everything else stays the same!
