Hey Bernth. I can't find the files for this course on Patreon, did you forget to upload or post it there? Hope you find the time to do it, looks really useful! :)
I find out that I start hammering on 32nd notes instead of picking when I came to challenging speeds, I put my attention to my picking hand but then I lost the whole thing, any advice?
Been doing this a few days, i already see results. Danke, dass du uns allen kostenlos weiterhilfst. Deine Arbeit wird den Menschen in 10 Jahren auch noch helfen, einfach danke.
After only the first exercise, my speed got way faster! and I am more confident playing throughout the fret now. Just started the second exercise, and dang! I feel like my fingers were about come off even at 50 BPM. Thanks bro! Your exercises work for sure.
Most players just give up after a time for whatever reason. These exercises are what the pros do. I highly recommend trying this method along with the use of a capo. Thanks Bernth 😊
This is a method used by Michael Angelo Battio for practice purposes only, I've noticed that it cuts out excess noise but could also effect a guitar players soloing and other various types of picking techniques.
does anyone know what to do to improove synchronization between two hands? I can't even get to 90 bpm in the first workout because it sounds sloppy in the 70 bpm 💀
MOst difficult one was nr 3, because of the doubble notes. It's something I've never used in my playing style. Anyway this was a really good warm up :)
Got half a week one before work and life meant a week away from the guitar. 2nd half of week 1 and ive got a clean 90 and a sloppy 100 and even 110.... might be a bit tense though as my picking arm felt like it was going to drop.... i had been doing it for about 20 minutes straight repeatedly though lol. Great to see progress though as that was a good 10-20 bpm over the previous week.
Thanks for the video! I started this yesterday. I wanted to ask about the higher speeds - how quickly do you think they can be achieved with the right technique? I have no problem with my left hand but right hand is starting to drop out at the double speed part at 70 bpm - which is 140 in 16th notes. I've played with fingers most of my life and then added the pick to my repertoire when I studied music at a conservatory six years ago. I was never interested in fast picking before but now I'm determined to shred the shit out of my guitar. :D
I practice these both with a pick, and without a pick. I'm having an easier time without a pick, and I've been playing for years. I'm not really sure what that means it's just something I have noticed. Thanks for this vid. I will keep practicing with a pick and see where I end up.
Holy Shit i SUCK … just when i thought .. yeah forget about what i thought … i was going to blaze right through all 4 of these …. Not .. i can’t believe i couldn’t do it … so i guess i will just start with # 1 every day 10 times for a week !!!!
All other practices are good but in practice #3 my little finger makes my hand get cramped. I mean the playing hand not picking hand. Does anyone have any idea? 🤔 This is a great video. It made me question all of my techniques. It has changed my picking technique drastically. Now I can play cleaner and learned my limits so I can push my boundaries. 👍
Curious, though, for the first week you play the first exercise every day, for how long? For the second week you play the second exercise, but do you start with the first exercise and the second exercise? Same question for the third and fourth weeks?
I find out that I start hammering on 32nd notes instead of picking when I came to challenging speeds, I put my attention to my picking hand but then I lost the whole thing, any advice?
@SHADOWNS27 yes. Unless you are trying for a different sound like flamenco or fingerstyle. Try to keep only one grip style for everything. You don't want to have to change positions mid play.
Challenge accepted. Failed to get a clean 90BPM on the first 2 workouts. Hoping to get better over the next 3 months coz I've got an important gig at work this December.
I'm definitely having trouble keeping up at the higher speeds, but I think it's my fretting hand that's the issue. Any quick tips on how to start fixing that?
I don't know exactly what the issue might be but here are some general tips: Always try to play relaxed with your whole body, the fingers of your left hand close to the frets without applying excessive pressure, the thumb should stay straight between your middle and ring fingers and follow the up and down motion of your left hand when playing scales, don't raise your fingers too much, try to always keep them close to the neck :)
All, be careful of injuries!... On my side it'll be more 4 years than 4 weeks 😂 My left hand sucks! Really hard to position it correctly and forget blues position.
anyone else find it nearly impossible to breathe and play fast licks at the same time? getting oxygen while playing is probably a good way to improve playing lol
Progress: (Updating when im back here) Might not be doing every day in a row (managing hand pain) edit: hand pain is bad, might take a week Week 1 Clean & Relaxed Day 1 92 bpm
Im 30 and it seems impossible for me.. I’m taking again after months,, good luck out there pirate, you got this!. practice and patience consistently I guess

@@michaelburkley4613that means your technique is wrong you shouldn’t have excess noise
workout1: cleared
workout2: 110 bpm
workout 3: 50 bpm, struggling with finger control rather than picking
workout 4: second speed
Thanks a lot Bernth !
This routine workout made me realize my right hand bad habits .. so i try to fix it and I will !!👍👍
This is good for Practice playing guitar faster and better. I like that part Speed-Building Workout #4 (8:30).
Thank you for making the teaching clip.
Good alternate picking workout! Thanks for sharing ...
thanks Man a lot for this video. I'm going to start now with the first one. I'll be back in one with my feed back.

Me too, it’s very hard. And it’s not getting easier each day.. My hands are still like.. stiff and not really fast, chaotic
After 50 bpm my synchronization goes off on first and second workout..
MOst difficult one was nr 3, because of the doubble notes. It's something I've never used in my playing style. Anyway this was a really good warm up :)
Hello Bernth, you are very good at tapping. Can you make simple tapping exercises on acoustic guitar? Thank you, Ramón.
Wow that looks like fun!
exercises like this make realize a couple of things. My picking sucks, and I can't descend for shit.

Here starting the 1st week
Is this for an old course? If so, what # is it? I don't see anything new on Patreon. ?
Post and ghost
very nice technique and practice my teacher
Which speed should I reach in workout #1 at least, to be certain, that I don't have any mayor problems?
Well, most mayors are out of shape politicians so a moderate to mid-high level speed should be more than enough to stay away from them.

May I ask, when you going to play rhythm guitar like strumming or finger picking, how you hold the pick?
He has a vid on picking techniques somewhere
