Most reliable product... Marc Jacobs tantasic bronzer-always looks great, and WET N WILD Photo Focus Foundation, AND Dr. Jart 30 spf. I used to use the mascara you used tonight and it really is good stuff! Excellent video. Video ideas: Editorial makeup looks, One half American-one half French makeup, or Country of choice... and Allie, trying new foundations and doing wear tests ALWAYS get tons of views!!
Hey, Allie! A video idea I have for you is "Make-up products you've rebought." I don't know if that's too similar to this video or not, but it's an idea. Also, I would love to see a wearable pink (eyeshadow) look because my favorite color is bright pink, but I feel like it can be difficult to make wearable since I like more natural looks. But you're so talented, so I think you could totally make it happen!
My husband took me to Sephora in July for my birthday and it was my first and only time going there so I was in Awe of everything, I actually spent $50 on Too Faced Born This Way foundation and I still feel super guilty about it, lol. The crazy thing though is that I have come to the realization that NOTHING compares to my Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse....Not even the $50 foundation😱!! I have rosacea so I have a lot of redness and it covers it beautifully and wears so pretty all day! Through that and watching your videos I’ve come to realize that I don’t need a $50 foundation because #1 I have 4 daughters and every penny counts, #2 I can achieve the look I want with drug store. However, eyeshadows are a different story.... I have tried numerous drugstore eyeshadow palette‘s and I only have 2 “high end” palettes that I reach for all the time because they perform much better. Long story short...lol, IF I ever got the chance to go back to Sephora, the only thing I would spend my money on is a nice palette.👌🏼

Crystal Fuentes, I returned my Born This Way foundation too. It didn't work as well as my Maybelline Fit me. Lesson learned that I didn't need a high end foundation

I might have to get the Modern Renaissance palette now! I actually keep a makeup bag with my "ride or die makeup" so if I need to leave in a hurry or going somewere overnight I know I have it ready. When I find new products I like better I switch it out. It has really been useful. You look beautiful!

Loved it!!! 👍💕I have so many “ride or die” products!! Just a couple are: Physicians formula butter bronzer (and I KNOW that’s one of your faves too 😉!!), “IT bye bye under eye cream”. I LOVE this! I put some on after my morning skincare “routine” and let it soak in while I do the rest of my makeup. It’s so hydrating.. ...and of course, the “Modern Renaissance” palate too, and my good ol’ Original “chocolate bar” palate also. LOVE those two palates!!!! 👍💗

I’m glad I found this video again, I was trying to find what colour Estée Lauder doublewear foundation you use as I think our skin tones are fairly similar! I wear 2w1 dawn so just slightly warmer than you but I’m tempted to try desert beige as I think I might need a more neutral colour.

I just subscribed, thanks for inspiring me to learn about makeup i dont really have any, i know most girls normally have collected over the years but i was in the military so you didnt wear it in my trade, had kids and now strugging metally and a husband with ptsd, it has not been the top of my list, but ive learned i need to do something for me:) so as i can i will start to buy one thing at a time so thanks for all that i am learning from you:)
