Over and Over wow you seem like a miserable person lol, you’re disgusting, please leave. Not only is it rude af, it’s also just simply not true, she’s filmed in natural lighting before and looked absolutely stunning. Bye
She looks so good without make-up. She only needs 15 minutes to apply the best make-up ever. And explains to us in the last 17 minutes that we are also so beautiful.
I really love the whole vibe here. First of all, your makeup is on POINT. Second, you keep it natural and not super crazy. And third, when you said to wear the makeup instead of letting it wear you... that was FOR REAL.
Love this video! I’m so tired of everybody’s videos being about how much make up you can put on and how expensive it can be. This is the perfect video for anybody looking to be natural.... buff buff buff make sure that you blend blend blend.....and you don’t need a million different products. Thank you sweetie you are amazing and beautiful.
Holy moly. This has been the most helpful video I have ever seen. You actually really explained everything and made it seem so much simpler than ever other video I’ve watched. I’d love to see tons of videos like this from you just giving us all the good info. Thank you!!!
The eyebrow tips really helped me understand how to start the process of drawing/styling them. Less is more is the best way. I really hope that's what 2019 is about.
I used a lot of tips and products from this video today for a wedding! I did my makeup and another girls too. More than one person came up and complemented my makeup. Someone said I look flawless. Thanks Allie!
I don't usually comment but this video was incredible. I didn't grow up in a make-up family and so have mostly been figuring things out on my own. There are tons of make-up tutorials all over youtube but yours stood out among all the ones I've watched because you explain SO MUCH. There were so many things that were just kind of skimmed over as common knowledge (which they probably were to everybody but me) in the other videos and left me confused or at a loss, but you covered all the bases. Thank you so so much. I've written down everything you said in a list so I can learn how and drill it in.
Someone once told me it doesn’t look like I wear a lot of makeup. To me, that was the best compliment I could ever have received!!!!! Because I do wear a lot of makeup! 😂
It's so good to see natural makeup, i love it! This is what i call makeup, not what you find on Instagram, 10 layers of foundation Please keep making more natural makeup videos! You are the best inspiration for me! 👌😘♥️

Nice to see a video that is more realistic than some of the other ones out there. I will say that I have found that keeping my brushes/sponges clean does go a long way in how the makeup applies.
You have a warm energy and confidence with your approach to self care that’s magnetic 🧲 do you have any videos on personal color matching? I notice the subtle hues in the background and your green shirt brings out your eyes!
Wow! First time watching you and your makeup is perfect. It’s so everyday life. Thank you for not “contouring like a RUclipsr!” You’re beautiful inside and out. Fan for life!! PS. I have heterochromia too 😍.
I got a Cover Girl makeup palette called overthrown for free from Ulta during their sale last weekend, and I looked on RUclips for reviews and found your Channel! I enjoyed your review and now I'm watching more of your videos, now I am subscribed and will be notified! I love love love this video the most because this is one of my problems, I have huge pores and I try so hard to cover them... I use too much foundation & powder, so I like your idea of less is more. I know it’s on the pricier side but the hourglass powder shade ambient light is my favorite you can get the travel size for 20$. It gives you a super nice flawless natural glow.
This is why I love watching you Allie. You actually want the makeup to look good not just in beauty lights and i really appreciate that! So thank you for this❤❤
Don’t take this the wrong way but it’s so refreshing to finally see someone that doesn’t have overly full brows doing their brows lol. Seems like every other artist already has perfect brows to begin with. Thanks for all your tips
SO NEEDED THIS for prom at the end of the month!! wanted to know how to do foundation for pictures but still look good and not cakey in person. I cant thank you enough!!!
omg....as a guy trying to get into makeup for the purpose of live broadcasts, asking female friends and watching male makeup youtubers has always left me feeling nearly the same as before I went into it with them, still clueless. So I really mean it when I say I appreciate how in-depth you explain everything, what it's meant for, how it works, and because I understand how it works it's a lot easier to understand the concepts as they come together rather than just trying to remember "do this first" or "always do this before that" or the least helpful "just remember to stop about right there" but after watching your video (including pausing it to go check the drugstore make up video), I can honestly say I feel more confident. My favorite was when you explain how to measure the lengt hof your brows, omg sooo useful knowing that know and so much easier than when someone told me "just follow the shape of your eyebrows". Finally, I also appreciate how you explain how to view makeup, looking at it not as a mask but a way to enhance. What attracted me to makeup in the first place was the lure of hiding my skin blemishes and wanting to "look perfect" on camera where'd I'd be constantly thinking about _what else needs fixed or adjusted_ rather than focusing maybe on the good things. I dunno, anyways just wanted to say thank you for being so thorough!

Thank you for no crude language, no music, and just being your natural beautiful self. You are a delight! I am now a subscriber. Good job pretty lady.
I learned more about matching my skin tone to foundation in this last 32 minutes than I have learned in 36 years. Thank you Allie! Love all of your videos!
I’ve been wanting to wear a more natural lip color and bought the same exact one today that you used in this video. It’s a sign. I’m on the right track to more natural looking makeup.
I just wanted to thank you for saying that make-up is only to enhance one's natural beauty, not mask or hide anything. I personally have resisted wearing make-up for some time because I see so many people that over do it! I really enjoyed this video. It warmed my heart and made me realize that there are people who think like I do! Thanks again!
Wow - I wasn't impressed at the beginning of this video, but by the end I was definitely impressed! Very natural and looked totally different with makeup! Thank you for this!!
This was so informative. I'm 44 years old & have always worn makeup but as I've gotten older I've noticed my skin is different. So, I decided to watch some tutorials. For the last couple months I've been studying makeup like it's my job. I had no idea there was so much to learn! I also had no idea how much fun it would be! Thank you!
I really like the way you explain things and how you are all about bringing out your natural beauty, also I loveeee using blush too! I think it really makes people have a healthy glow, subbed :3
This is so incredibly helpful. I’ve watched tons of makeup tutorials but have never felt so empowered to take on my own look! Beautiful beautiful result, thank you Allie🙏🌸❤️
There are so many videos on youtube about the tips of applying the makeup but this was one of the best, with so many useful advices. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for this informative video! I wanted to buy a foundation today and you really helped me to choose the right foundation color (and which undertone to choose). After buying so much foundations with the wrong color I finally got the right one! I also got the estee lauder foundation but not the nude version. Love to watch all of your video's and the looks you create.
I just found your channel and WOW...you're one of my favorite youtubers right now. What a breath of fresh air, and genuine beauty! Thank you for your videos!
your eyes are so beautiful! and i love how you always remind us in the video that even with makeup we cannot achieve perfection and it's completely fine (and human) thank you so much
I'm new to watching any makeup videos. I've watched yours the most! I love your message - it's ok to look human and have flaws. Of which, I struggle with under eye crease lines. I wear Estee Lauder double wear, but like many women that grew up in the 90s, I put it on entire face. Looks like I need a reboot! I would love to know more about smoothing under the eye and a remedy for really dark eyelids. Again, I even put my foundation on the eyelids. (By the way, I love blush too!) I look forward to watching more of your videos. Your positivity shines through your entire face - good job reminding us all to be the best version of ourselves.
This video is an absolute gem ! You are by far one of the most informative, down-to-earth beauty You Tubers out there (and one of my favorites at that). I really love how to constantly promote the idea of self-love + care and show make up and beauty isn’t cookie cutter. I have learned so much from you and always enjoy your opinions. Much love to you 💜💜.
I found this video two days ago, tried it out on my birthday (which was yesterday) and high key everything you did in this video works out amazingly. I was feeling myself all day because I just looked like an enhanced version of me without looking fake or cake-y! One of the best video I've come across on RUclips.. Thank you SO MUCH!!
Hahaha I think he goes by the same reason Manny does, and it's that they are really white and in photos next to their darker skin friends like Nikita they look too pale, so they use a darker skin tone shade and end up looking weird cause the neck and hands look pale 😏
What is coming through in your video is how caring and empathetic you are with your viewers! I really like your honesty. Keep up the lovely tutorials. I've subscribed to your channel, delightfully so. Love from your new Australian fan xo
Allie I just want you to know how much I FREAKING LOVE YOU!!!! I’ve been watching almost every single video of yours for the past 9 months (at least) and you’ve seriously changed my makeup game. You are my #1 favorite RUclipsr! You’re humble, honest, down to earth and an AMAZING teacher!!!! Please keep doing what you’re doing 💕💕💕
When I see that a video is any longer than 15 minutes, I just skip it. But you videos are so amazing that I am so willing to watch the full 30 minutes of it. I love how you emphasise the beauty of looking imperfect, the beauty of looking human. You are one of the best makeup artist I've ever watched!
Fabulous detail... Love the info about the C W N, I never knew this. Absolutely LOVE your gorgeous make up look. Thank you for taking the time to share in such detail.
I also want to know about this xD So many types of brushes and it doesn't help when makeup artists just say "I'm using brush #24" which makes me confused or feel like I have to get the exact same brand they're using.
She just did a brush video titled "the brushes I can't live without" she talks about them all gives different options and they're all listed in the description!!
Can I just say that I have watched lots of RUclips makeup videos and none of them have spoke about this very topic?! I click out of most makeup videos mainly bc I can't relate...I mean, how am I gonna incorporate IG makeup into my daily routine? So irrelevant. I find your channel so refreshing!
Allie, I watch youtube on my Roku a lot so I rarely comment but I got my computer out just so I can say that this is an excellent video that I appreciate very much. I've watched a lot of different brow tutorials and complexion routine tutorials and what not, and those have been helpful. But I appreciate so much you going slowly through a basic natural (but very pretty) everyday look and talking us through it and emphasizing the key elements to keeping it pretty in person. I haven't seen many videos that emphasize keeping it natural and toned down enough to look good in person during the day for long periods of time. It's such a practical way to approach a tutorial and I feel like this is a great basics video that most of us viewers can actually use for our everyday looks. I love crazy looks and full glam but this was just such a useful fundamental video that all kinds of women could benefit from. Thanks for making it. You always kill it but this was such a great take on the classic tutorial. I really appreciate content like this.
I wish all make up you tubers would show their final look in natural light, and up close. We know a lot of them use filters and lights that make everything look flawless. It gives us such unrealistic expectations.
Honestly, you are too underrated. I mean you literally changed my entire perspective on makeup, how to wear and the purpose of it. And let me tell you I am not easily gullible. Love this! So glad I found your channel, keep it up!
She is so right about tools. You have to use the right tool for the job. This is art people. Brushes really help, but IMO the beauty eggs are the best for foundation!!!

I personally have resisted wearing make-up for some time because I see so many people that over do it! I really enjoyed this video. It warmed my heart and made me realize that there are people who think like I do! Thanks again!
Your blush is perfect looking , not overdone just exactly enough !!!
Wow - I wasn't impressed at the beginning of this video, but by the end I was definitely impressed! Very natural and looked totally different with makeup! Thank you for this!!
WOW, this was one of the BEST makeup vids I've ever seen, such a good job! Thank you!
Skye Fresh oh my goodness thank you!!!! 😘
@@allieglines you're very welcome! Truly amazing video, I would love to see the eyes done in this much detail! Thanks for all you do for us!💜🤣💛
This was so informative. I'm 44 years old & have always worn makeup but as I've gotten older I've noticed my skin is different. So, I decided to watch some tutorials. For the last couple months I've been studying makeup like it's my job. I had no idea there was so much to learn! I also had no idea how much fun it would be! Thank you!
You are my favorite RUclipsr! I trust you the most for sure! You’re so relatable and approachable for every day!
Keila Gabel 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ thank you soooo much!!!
everything you said about enhancing your natural features was spot on.
I really like the way you explain things and how you are all about bringing out your natural beauty, also I loveeee using blush too! I think it really makes people have a healthy glow,
subbed :3
You are so refreshing to watch! Its so hard to find people who dont just pound the makeup on their face. And you are so mellow and easy to watch!!!
This is so incredibly helpful. I’ve watched tons of makeup tutorials but have never felt so empowered to take on my own look! Beautiful beautiful result, thank you Allie🙏🌸❤️
This means so much to me! Thank you! 💕❤️
Thank you so much!! 💕❤️ I’m grateful for your support!! 🥰 Love you!!
I just found your channel and WOW...you're one of my favorite youtubers right now. What a breath of fresh air, and genuine beauty! Thank you for your videos!
You truly are the best makeup RUclips teacher. Thank you so much!
your eyes are so beautiful! and i love how you always remind us in the video that even with makeup we cannot achieve perfection and it's completely fine (and human) thank you so much
I’m SO GLAD that you made this video! This was SO good. Love you girl! Your videos keep getting better and better! 💗🙌🏼
Alyssa Marie Baniaga 😭💕 THANK YOU!!! Love you so much!! 😘
Btw, I love videos like this every once in a while, where things actually get explained & tips/tricks get exposed! 😊
I'm so happy to have just discovered your channel! I love your voice, intonation and think you are super gorgeous :) xoxo
James needs to watch this video to get a lesson on how to pick foundation 😂😂
Ha! TRUE!!! James openly admits that his face makeup isn’t his forte 😂😂😂
Hahaha I think he goes by the same reason Manny does, and it's that they are really white and in photos next to their darker skin friends like Nikita they look too pale, so they use a darker skin tone shade and end up looking weird cause the neck and hands look pale 😏
@@hallucinangel he also very much has peachy undertones, and he insists his undertones are yellow lol
Maya Rosenberg YESSS!!! Everyone thinks he’s the best but he can’t even pick the right foundation color.
@@kaileyy Yep, I can see that
What is coming through in your video is how caring and empathetic you are with your viewers! I really like your honesty. Keep up the lovely tutorials. I've subscribed to your channel, delightfully so. Love from your new Australian fan xo
Your eyelashes are stunnning!!!! I have long lashes too but I still wear falsies /: I think I’m going to stop and embrace my natural lash
Super informative and straight forward. Thank you!
Wow, loved all the tips. Thank you, I felt like I was in an actual class learning how to do makeup!!! Sending love all the way from Croatia.
Fabulous detail... Love the info about the C W N, I never knew this. Absolutely LOVE your gorgeous make up look. Thank you for taking the time to share in such detail.
Finally early!!! Could you do a video on brush recommendations?!
@@maggieschnoor4481 thanks! I'll look it up.
Thank you for this 411, Allie! I had to use the Color Grab app because I just did not know how to determine my undertone. Thanks again! Beautiful!
Lea, THANK YOU! 💕 This means so much to me. I really appreciate your comment! Love you! ❤️😘
@@allieglines Love YOU and thank you for everything you do!
I wish all make up you tubers would show their final look in natural light, and up close. We know a lot of them use filters and lights that make everything look flawless. It gives us such unrealistic expectations.
You look gorgeous. I so enjoyed this look
I appreciate this video because most tutorials don’t even talk, and they just through things on their face
Honestly, you are too underrated. I mean you literally changed my entire perspective on makeup, how to wear and the purpose of it. And let me tell you I am not easily gullible. Love this! So glad I found your channel, keep it up!
this is what i call a tutorial (when they finally explain what they are doing)
She is so right about tools. You have to use the right tool for the job. This is art people. Brushes really help, but IMO the beauty eggs are the best for foundation!!!
