@@Syntac I think the reason y the dragon never attacked is similar to deinonychus as they are so small the bosses don’t prioritise them as val was super easy at the start with 18 deinons and a yuty with peppa.

There sure are lots of dinos much easier to fight bosses, but direwolf is definitely one of the creature I would love to see them shine! Great job Syntac!
about mjölnir: before wildcard added the ascension to SE, the only way to get to lvl 190 was to get all the other ascensions on alpha, all notes, all runes and the chibi levels. but since SE ascension raised the max level to 215, you can now ignore the notes and only go for half the runes, for example

I've always loved Direwolves, but I never thought they'd be viable against the Dragon (or any bosses, for that matter), simply because I had no idea it would prioritize larger creatures like that. If that works in ASA, I'm 100% running wolves against the bosses.
Would you ever mutate Mesopithecus and fight anything with em? I made a battle bunch and lead the with the baboon, sent em at a giga, and their yell before they bombarded it with poop, had me dying.
As far as ive seen the dragon either cant or struggles to hit small things like raptors and wolves when theyre attacking its ankles. This is probably why it was just solely targeting you on the yuty while the wolves were tearing it up. Its one of those ways to cheese the bossfight
that blocking of the dragon the wolves did is how on valguero we've taken out the dragon and monkey with 2 pairs of deinonychus... and use the rest of the army on the manticore after...
I actually used wolves for my the island dragon boss fight, I had heard about the megalosaurus strategy where because they are considered small the dragon ignores them when you take in something bigger, which is exactly what you did. I was really hoping you would discover it, my attempts went a little worse because my wolves weren't absolutely insane but it still worked.
Great job! feels kinda got to see someone actually killed the Fenrir with wolves. I also tryed to kill the Fenrir Boss with wolves, but i faild. I hadn't maxt my Wolfes out but i mutated them quite a bit, i think they had like 160 melee and 120 hp and they had primitive saddls because they were modded (not stronger than normal wolves, just a diffrent pattern). I didn't use a yuti or Deaodon just a Andrew i was riding so i wouldn't get dismounted. I could have killed it with the Andrew-weapon if the Fenrir would not have nearly killed my andrew right at the start and finished it after my wolves all died.
I haven't tried it but the s+ propagator should be able to make them breedable to get mutations and should be able to clone it and set a gender in the propagator.
Yes first like on the video and the first view also I feel like the alpha should be a completely different color than the rest of the pack so it’s easier to find amoung the crowd also knowing wildcard they’re not going to tell us the release date for ASA until the day before or the day of its release
Fight Fenrir with wolves, broodmother with araneos, Megapithecus with gigantopithecus, manticore with wyverns and thylas and a pulmonoscorpius?, Rockwell with reapers?, crystal wyvern queen with wyverns, dinopithecus king with dinopithecus, dragon with ??? overseer with enforcers or tek creatures?
That attack actually isn't a insta death, I got hit by it, not paying attention, dealing with Fenrirs on my Yuti. I had my best flak armor, and after the attack, I'm pretty sure that I was left on single digits health, I even thought I'll die from the fall damage, since it shot me forward, towards the Fenrisulfr. Needless to say, it was all panic, and then massive relief, that I somehow survived.
Hah, i remember i rode my daedon while my mate took in an army of rexes for fenrir. I was the last to survive and manages to solo the end of the boss fight wjth a shotgun !
im not sure why keep killing baby gigas for exp when baby carchas gives way more. in my server rates they give a ton. but I'm not sure about your servers. but dododex says they give way more also. i hope you read this! Great contents btw. love all your ark videos!

Carnos work as well. Too big to be targeted by bosses (if you're on a Yuty or similar) but small enough to prevent the boss from moving.
