PLEASE NOTE : YOU NEED THE SANTATRON COLLECTRON IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO SET THE OTHER COLLECTRONS TO 'HOLIDAY GIFTS'. Hopefully we'll see it added to the Atomic Shop for free asap so players without this can also utilise their collectrons - at the time of making the video I could only go on past information but can confirm that all my other collectrons can be set to 'Holiday Gifts' but I do own the Santatron. I had mistakently remembered that this option was available throught the event duration even if you did not own the santatron, so apologies for that but hopefully BGS will add or enable this asap! Thanks
You can jut ticket Bethesda's support page and purchase it. I did this for a couple items when i started a couple weeks ago. As long as you have the Atoms, you can still buy the Santatron
@martynlawson9215 the fasnacht one is available but the santatron is not in the list unfortunately but they have added it back to the atomic shop for free today until 6th August! 🤩

@@GoldenGek hmm, well i did buy mine from bethesda's ticket system. but good to see they added it back in. Probably didn't show as i already have it.
My nukaquantron is currently collecting gifts as we speak.
I rarely go to these spots; Cranberry bog, Ranger district office, pleasant valley and Morgantown trainyard for the win!
I agree that once you are a higher level there are better areas but for this guide I wanted to make a route that even a brand new player could follow and have a good chance for a high number of holiday scorched 👍🤩
Big thxs for the tip about building a santatron at a workshop I didn't even know you could do that. 👍 Now my little robot friends can collect the gifts save me jumping around the map trying to find the scorched. Great vid btw, liked and subbed
Is there a reason you passed by the small locations?
Groves Family cabin ( north of the fairgrounds ) and Black Bear Lodge (SW of the Crater) have high spawn rates.
Those ski locations, Top Of The World and the buildings around it.
Seneca Rocks Visitor Center, SW of Fort Atlas.
Wixon Homestead, south of the Vault 76 entrance?
Not especially, I just tried to make a concise and quick route from previous experience of where I've had good consistent spawns. Ofc if you have time then check the others on route though 🤩
Ps. The Santatron is available on page 4 of The Atomic shop below the Fez hat and next to the Hold All back pack 👍 put them lazy robots to works guys and gals

I got the Atomicset handbag backpack but it's yellow.. not like the black one pictured. Not upset I just thought it was weird.
yeah, the datamined images I was given showed a black bag and also a totally different jitterbug judy outfit. Unfortunately, sometimes what is datamined is not always what we actually get and Bethesda switch things out last min. Prob is I need to make the videos before the event has started so I have to go with what I have.

well so far I have either been really lucky or they have given a priority to the new items as I have most of the new set already and not many of the older ones?? So fingers crossed you'll also have some good luck and get the ones you want! 👍🤩
You should have included charleston capitol building, there are 7-10 spawns outside
yeah, there are many places I missed just to try and make this a simple route but people can always add more places along the way. It was more of a quick guide to give people a kick start and for new players who didn't know where to go.
@@GoldenGek I understand that, I'm not going to list all the spawns in cranberry bog or the mire as they're out of the routes area and would be out of the way. I only mentioned CCB because it's along your route and spawns a fair amount, so it'd be a good idea to include it next time.

Thank you, that would explain it. I seem to have the santatron on all my characters and therefore wondered why people weren't able to select holiday gifts as the option is available to me! I had mistakenly thought this option opened up during the event period and not just if you owned the santatron! Apologies and I will add a note to the video ! 👍

Did i just get really unlucky or why dont seem an festived scroched spawn for me? Tried it in Waterpark and Morgan Airport yesterday. not a single one.
Just unlucky I'm afraid, sometimes you'll not find any and other times you'll get loads. They have a 10% chance to spawn from a regular scorched spawn

yes, it seems that Bethesda have forgotten to add in one of the most important items for this event! I have sent a support ticket and a few dm's to some community managers so fingers crossed it'll be added in before the event ends. Annoyingly you can't even make an atomic shop request for it either! Unfortunately I was making the video before the event went live so therefore had to base some info on what has always happened during this event.
Does not drop ultracite plasma ammo, tried to get some extra yesterday while opening gifts and it was just dropping random Ammo for every gift
Omfg Bethesda!! This was fixed before so guess they've broken it again to drop random rather than for the weapon you have equipped!! Man there are some bugs atm!!

@@scottbetts9672 I tried it the first day and it didn’t drop the ultracite ammo haven’t tried since maybe they fixed it? Going to have to check it out again

We didn’t but the the devs said they were looking into that so might have just been an oversight. Here’s hoping!
yes I think this is an oversight although there is no real excuse tbh! They need a ticklist of things to check before we launch an event! lol

I love how the devs fucked new players on the santa collecteon. I dont want to hear they're looking into it. It shouldve been released for them during the release of the event. All the newer players should be compensated something as an apology and people like myself who already have it shouldnt get anything. Devs really need to do better. Also you got the wrong image for jitterbug judy outfit its pink and turquoise top with jeans
couldn't agree more esp when we keep seeing a lot of really basic mistakes with events which makes it look like they either don't communicate with each other, haven't tested or don't even play their own game!? I did also wonder about the outfit asI made it earlier and thought it didn't look anything like the image! 🤦

yeah ..... not sure what is going on at BGS with communication tbh! Hopefully they will apply a fix asap esp for the Santatron!

They all can but you need the Santatron to activate the option. This has literally just been added back to the atomic shop for free today
Which skin is that for the handmade?
The handmade has the screaming eagle paint and the fixer has the peepers paint from a previous season 👍

Will you get Nuka Cola Quantum ammo if you equip it?
in theory you should get any ammo that is for the weapon you have equipped, although I must admit I have not tested with that ...... loading into the game .....!! lol
@GoldenGek I tested Treasure maps, expeditions, and didn't recieve any. Wasn't able to test it with holiday gifts.
@upthebet interesting as there is no stated exclusion for ammo, unless they just mean the types that drop from enemy kills so this may be like nuka grenades in that you need to make it
@GoldenGek admittedly it would be broken if every small gift gave me 30 nuka quantum ammo.

hehe the game will always be semi broken but still fun though! I mean they keep fixing bits, then breaking more bits, then fixing those bits, adding more bits and then we are just full of bits!

When does the collectron become available?
Unsure as the event is usually at Christmas! You can set any collection to holiday gifts during this event though
I only have Junk, Fasnacht, and electronics. Each are from a previous collectron I bought. No holiday

yes, it seems that you need to have the santatron to unlock this option. Annoyingly when I tested I could set all the collectrons to xmas gifts but that is apparently because I own the santatron. I had misremembered that this option unlocked during the holiday event and was not directly linked to the santatron being owned.

This game is so broken right now I'm not playing it anymore. I started playing other games that don't crash every 5 mins or just the number of other things. I think the devs like the game broken

Lol. At the moment, it's been constantly broken since day one. I stopped playing it for a few years and recently started playing again. They aren't looking to fix it apparently, no other game I've played online has this much problems from day one.

No, you could build one in every workshop, I think, but it would take you a while to claim them all!!

@4AEMRR yes but only during the event. You should be able to change the selection to holiday gifts on the collectron
@@GoldenGek weird I can’t change any of my collecttrons options to holiday gifts, matter of fact I can’t even change the option on a collecttron that is on a workshop, on camp it lets me but doesn’t show holiday gifts
@4AEMRR hmm, interesting as they worked on testing. Do you have the one from the current season? That one def should allow you to change it
No thjs game is broken again. Holiday scorched are nowhere to be found. Spent over 2 hours this morning and only found 3. This is ridiculous. I have never seen it this bad. On private server they dont spawn at all. And the map? Whats up with the map? Click on map and it opens way up in the top left corner. Died and tried to respawn in and the map was b!ank as if i had not ever travelled anywhere. I could not resoawn back in! Had to close game and restart. Hey bethesda.... Fix yiur broken game!
The map is a known bug that they have said there will be a bug fix coming soon but I agree it is super annoying! I have not experienced the lack of holiday scorched on any of the worlds I have been on so best to just hop a few servers and recheck some of the high scorched areas. The respawn blank map is another bug that is back which was previously fixed and I have had this happen to me on occasion too. I must admit recently they seem to be adding more bugs than they are fixing :-(
Yeah i spent hours server hopping and only got a couple, and found 0 on private server after hopping in and out there as well. Checked every possible scorched location and just nothing. Never had that happen before

i hate the kill 10 festive scorched daily challenge, when does it end ?
In theory it should have ended today as the holiday scorched event ended today but I'm unsure if they extended it due to it finishing early by mistake?!
