I think you may have misunderstood what I said, you can continue to get the plans for the PA parts, but not duplicate mod plans until you have received all the PA part plans. But great that you have got nearly all the plans you want! I have not had much luck at all so far!

tbh I am unsure as I have not heard others say they don't work. If I find anthing more out about these not working with the Auto axe then I will update this post but prob check on the 76 reddit

Are you using the santatron at both your workshops and your camp? You can change the collecting option on the terminal of the unit and can change it to Holiday Gifts during the event. This works in both workshops and camps and is still working despite the event being cancelled due to Bethesda's mistakes with the holiday scorched

@ I am but the one at my camp lets me pick gift sometimes and other times it’s automatically picking gifts and I don’t have the option to pick gifts idk if that makes sense

@@corey7420 so each collectron has a terminal computer that you can select what your collectron will collect. During the Holiday Scorched event (this is still valid atm even though the event has been cancelled) you can select any collectron to collect Holoday Gifts. The collectron will then collect junk and also the chance of a random sized holiday gift. This will then appear in the hopper. Remember that collectorns placed at workshops will only collect and be available when you are in that world. Once you log off they will be removed.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but Bethesda have announced that they have messed up the event which was not dropping gifts so is now being cancelled!! However, if you log on every day you should receive a load of the gifts for free for the next 2 weeks!

As long as you have the santatron redeemed from the atomic shop, you can set the fetch to get holiday gifts, so you only need to change the selection on the terminal of the fetch collectron

There are many areas I did not include, simply for time as otherwise the video would have been super long, the trainyard is a good location tbh and yes right next door to the airport so easy pickings!

Not sure it works in Private. Killed about 15 and got nothing. Switched to Public and only killed one and got the ‘gift’

yeah you kinda would have thought that for one of the biggest game companies on the planet someone might have tested it first! lol They have apparently increased the spawns as not all the holiday scorched are dropping gifts!

@silverfox4123 tested private and i was getting them just not as many dropping gifts but plenty of legendaries for scrip

@GoldenGek I only got 1 gift, plenty legendary aswell

@@kurtriediger480 yeah, this is an error from BGS and as of yet they haven't put out any fix just increased the spawn rate for the spooky scorched - you would have thought someone might have checked the event before they put it live!

🥰 that is very sweet of you, although I think if you try to become their friend you may end up being their lunch! The lore on the scorched is actually really interesting and if you enjoy this I would highly recommend starting a fresh character, take your time and read all the terminals and backstory as it is actually really well written and gets mostly missed by most players who just want to shoot stuff and get better gear lol

yes there is a player title, I just forgot about it so I apologise for that, I just find them pointless I'm afriad. They are only from the crafted pails and there is a 5%, 10% and 25% from the corresponding sizes of crafted gifts and the title is 'Festive'

I find them to be cool, they add character to a pretty bland naming system, if only you could just interchange every titles then it would be better

crouch your character in a corner and enable auto run? as long as your character is moving and not dead then your game will stay active

yes, collectrons can be built at every workshop you 'own' and one at each of your camps but just not in shelters

I mainly use the Handmade rifle, I have a bloodied with faster fire and faster reload. The explosive does more damage but also tends to be a pita as it send stuff flying (like irradiated sugar bombs) when you are trying to collect things like that!

yeah there are many locations that could be added to the route, I cut it down to this simply due to time and my testing of the spawns at the locations I mentioned. Great location though, thanks

I think there are some bugs atm from the drops on the mutated packs and party packs where the rare outfits etc are not dropping at all but check the fallout 76 reddit

Other collectrons can be used to collect Holiday Gifts, but only during the Holiday Scorched event, they will then revert back to their default once the event ends

yeah that is a great way, just not possible for many players, hence I didn't include the scorched earth event in the guide as it was meant as a more general overview, but great point for those who can!

@@GoldenGek The group I play with will jump on a private server, take all the workshops exactly like you said, do three Scorched Earths, collect from the workshops, then hop server and do it again... plans up the yazoo

It's just another English quirk I guess. It means the same thing but I could have also just misread the script lol

The collectron will get gifts wherever you place it but this is just a good way to constantly generate gifts without the collectron roaming around. You can also only build one in a camp but can build one in each workshop so hence the 'farm'

tbh I am not entirely sure about that but I have a feeling it doesn't as you are not actually picking up an item, unless you collect dirty water from a carton. I will double check and update the comment once I have a definite answer.

yeah, my first thought for this was to just either retire the older plans or have them available from a trader instead for caps, or move the mounted head plans with new glowing varients to a brand new cryptid hunt event or something similar. It would be nice to get some new seasonal events with new plans and rewards at this point. However, what they have done is changed the drop chance so that you are more likely to receive the newer plans than the older items.

yeah there are many places that I missed but I kinda had to draw a line somewhere otherwise the video would be super long! This also only covers a small area of the map and I didn't even mention the scorched queen event or the fissure sites. There are a tonne of options with this event which is great for scrip and module farming!

yeah, it is a shame that they just keep adding pretty rubbish items to things you can earn in game. It wouldn't take too much effort to add some decent stuff! Still fun killing the spookies though and if you haven't played before then there are some decent older plans

I kinda have to agree but the legendary items are worth it with the amount of spooky scorched there are! Need so many dam mods still!!

yeah they may do, they could just remove the gatling plasma mods from dropping in the collision course event though as it's such a tiny % chance anyway.

@@TheEnigman the blueprint can glitch and not be placed down, if so make a blueprint without stash box and scrapbox which you can add after you place the blueprint with the box and santatron down.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure how that would be any better than free fast travel? I think to be able to plot a highlighted route on your map would be a good idea though so you can remember where you're going next lol

@kuruption21000 I can see where you are coming from, but I have done a lot of testing of builds recently and you can make a real strong build still but it's just quite different. They have def seemed to go heavily down the pa route but at the same time the raids were designed for end game only so you need to be at least level 300+ for them but that is by design. There is plenty to do and great events to play without the raids, they are just the new shiny toy tbh. I do think the legendary crafting needs to be increased from 1% and 1.5% chance to 2% and 3% just because atm like you say it's very hard to build a good setup as weapons are not really worth anything now in vendors, the plans are all pretty crap that are available to farm and sell as they have pushed so much to the atomic shop etc etc. There def needs to be some balance changes but this might come with the ghoul update in Jan?!

at 150 right now, cold shoulder has been doing work on enemies and high health legendaries/bosses. crazy to think a craftable weapon is doing more high damn that legendaries out of loot since every time im in a event theres people with what looks like 3 star legendaries just chipping at health bars altogether. when i start shooting knocking it out to near death if im unloading the shotgun at close range

that is really very good going tbh, I know a lot of people who have run it many many more times and still have bits missing!

Yeah, it's gonna be a small chance as the 33 other mod plans also drop too, just learn every mod as you get them as they won't drop again until you have the armour plans and good luck!
