The mothman tomb for your camp does not give you a 15% XP boost. Only the mothman himself gives you that. The personal tomb for your camp only gives 5%. It will also overite the actual mothman xp boost if you accidently use it when already having the 15% mothman xp boost. So be careful not to use it when you already have the 15% boost
Thanks for that clarification and I'll have to check what I said as I meant to say 5% so if I said 15% then I'll have to add a highlighted comment for that as a correction, but that is a really good point about the overiding of the 15% from the event. i will do the event until i get the tome since or i have the other stuff since i buyed the plans from other players or i don't care about them like the moths and the moths displays.

yeah the pyres would be cool to have if that's what you mean - the ones in the event?! They really need to retire all the old plans from these events so that the reward pool is kept at a healthy level. Every new plan added reduces the chances to get certain plans you are missing which is kinda irritating!
No, I'm afraid not. Ensure all pyres are kept alight and that is the best you can do then just pray to the gods of rng. It's the same as the other events, I'm afraid. Each players rewards are completely separate and everyone will have the same chances

ok so you should just be able to build it wherever you like although you may need to place this first and then add you other item on top to get it to work.
@@SleepToNeverWakeAgain the great thing is that you can always earn more caps in game which allows you to buy plans for things using the in game economy. Best way to make caps is hunt for things that people want and set up a base with a vendor that is easy to find in a position that is close to minerva etc.
They need to go back to 1 week events and not the 2 week. 10 days in, it gets boring, the selling plans market gets flooded with plans that then devalues the cost as everyone has them. Players trying to sell a plan for 20k is stupid, again everyone has them, why pay that, go to someone else's base and buy it cheaper. Plus unless it's super rare you shouldn't be asking for anything that's 20k. Plans are typically 2k-5k for rare ones, not 20k that everyone has
I do agree with you on the length of the events other than the 2 week limited time events, but with those they need to make the challenges harder and the prizes much much better. I always use the plan collectors site to ensure any plans I sell are in line with what they show as it's a great little tool. I do agree though and think they should also retire a load of the older event plans to the atomic shop or back catalogue etc.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean as you can get the plan for the mothman nest to place at your camp although this event is now over, keep an eye on other players camps
@@GoldenGek I believe the plan was only available in the 2023 event, once in a blue moon, or something like that? If the plan is available as a tradeable, then I'll go searching sites to buy it outright for herbivore haha! I thought it was a non-tradeable plan, or something that was auto learned by random for the event's completion.
@@hyperionsf3220 it should be as they made all plans now tradable inc old ones that weren't before. However with this I find it way easier to just travel to point pleasent as the mothman egg next only gives you 4 I think

haha I actually really dislike the perk so although I do have it as a rank 1, 2 and 3 so I can swap it out when facing anything I need the extra damage for. The reason is that I use a controller on my pc and if you move one of the joy sticks with vats and concentrated fire when you move you also move the vats targetted area and it's super annoying lol

The added plans is actually a nightmare. Reducing odds of a moth man tomb to one in 30 runs for an event that happens once an hour. ffs, they really want us to be grinding the event nightly for hours a day. I wouldn’t mind if the layout of the area wasn’t so god-awful, but I hate the event. I kill and clear for the first phase but because their are always 12+ just sit at one bonfire and don’t even try to make it to the rooftop in time for the emote. Of course if I was fortunate enough to enter a server that only had 3-6 online, I would enjoy it, but no reason. Honestly events are so much better during off hours when only half the people show up. I’m looking at you eviction notice, r rumble, and jamboree. But fasnacht is monotonous and moth man is just plan painful to get around.
I completely agree that adding a substantial number of plans to an event, however nice the intention, does not actually help the players in any way who are after specific rewards. This is why I really think they should start to retire many of the older plans etc and maybe overhaul the atomic shop request part of the bethesda support to include all of this type of thing so that if people wanted to get them there was the option to but by removing them from the events it would allow players to get the chance to earn the new ones with a slightly higher reward chance.
IMO the more players the better. I believe there is something to the drop rate if more players are participating? High chance I am wrong, and I hope someone can check that for me. But - I am all for a bunch of players participating. Good times - Good XP - Good scrap. I put the Albino Blood in my vendor yesterday and they sold for 50 caps each. I had 25. Crazy huh?

I don't think it's a problem as long as you either can reroll or they don't require something specific. I thought the event that required the cremator to complete was very unfair indeed to new players. Also during the event most people will play anyway to try and get the new rewards!
yes that is a great little easter egg. I was trying to record footage of this last event to use in the vid and I NEVER got a single perfect mothman egg!! lol
I don't think this particular event is boring as there is a lot that goes on and the general rewards are good but we do need more variation and def some new events, plus they should only run events max twice per year for any particular one.

I do agree thay they need to space the events out esp things like the holiday scorched should ONLY be at christmas and the Fasnacht should ONLY be at the time of the actual IRL event. What we need is some more new events with new decent rewards as well as these as there is nothing wrong with keeping the older events although I do think they should retire most of the old rewards and just give them all a refresh instead of just adding more rewards which in turn just makes the chances of getting any of the new rewards smaller!
Didn't they just do this a couple months ago? This game is too repetitive and boring at this point. I think I'm done. Since I'm a console player and won't get to play fallout London I guess I'll have to wait till I'm elderly to come back to the series when FO5 finally drops in the far off future
haha yes they did but there were a load of issues with it when it ran last time so I think that is the reason for running it again. There is a new season coming in a few weeks though, starting on 3rd Sept that will also have a load of new stuff with the Blue Ridge Caravan Company so don't loose hope just yet!

I get that they want to promote the event, but I really wish the daily/weekly challenges were kept separate from them...
