- In this video we travel to a remote bush location where a late 19th Century Homestead was established. We believe it was removed from the site in the early 1950s. Some great finds in a lovely bush setting make for a great day out. Thanks for joining us on our adventure and please consider subscribing to our channel. Happy Fossicking! Warren and Colleen.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, that is.
Great location! Thanks For bringing us along.
Nice video and beautiful nature love it thank you for taking us along super🍺👍🏻
Wonderful homestead history.
Very enjoyable and good luck. Let's hope a 1930 penny will show up one day.
Thanks for the great video and history lesson.
G'day Warren & Colleen, I think that circular stepped plate (50-65mm) with the holes in it is for a kitchen sink plughole, it stopes peelings etc from blocking the drain.
We use a modern equivalent on board or overland truck to stop crap from making it's way into our grey water tank, hope this helps mate.
Safe & Happy Fossicking Mate, Steve.
Yes, that was my immediate impression, too.
Nice old farm site love old history you had some nice finds.I enjoyed your video and good Day
Really good!
gotta love those olde places. they generally never had much money to lose though. Occasionally you can do real good. I have gone to olde sites and discovered that they may have sold grog on the side. got thirty three coins from one site mainly copper though.
Great bit of history and a nice quiet place to dig.
Thanks for taking us on the journey. Just getting into metal detecting. I think it is interesting how much you picked up on the "sharpshooter" that was there back in the day. I am an accomplished pistol shooter but a recent permanent injury has reduced my dominant hand/arm to less than 40%. So I am looking for a new hobby.
the coin with a .303 hole is interesting..
That was a cool place. Always wish we knew their story. Saw a video where The Hoover Boys got a “Sunbaker”. I’m always looking. Thanks for the great day.
your first days of fall, our first days of spring, yet we share an ocean, so for both ,the wet is just ending, and the dry soon to begin. nice shot on that coin!
That penny with a shot throgh it, proof that that " suport your local sherif " fella made it to Australia after all. LOL
Nice outing in the outback. Enjoyed this one Warren. Thank you.
Excellent video and hunt ! Congratulation for all ya`ll finds ! Good luck and best wishes on ya`ll next hunt !
Loved watching thank you 😊
Nice spot mate should have detected under the tank stand as a kid I'd make ours luck a cubby house maybe some old toys left behind
Great video always intriguing the old homesites cheers Phil
I recognised the Farm by the water tank but until you told us about the home being taken away it never entered my head that it had been moved Warren, it's a wonderful thought that its still being lived in. The penny and 303 round with the holes in them are great finds, someone was a marksman there lol. The lovely Kangaroo penny Colleen found was in remarkable condition and a sunbaker too. I know how tiring it is to walk about 30 miles and back, I only did that a couple of times not every week or month, the oldtimers were a tough lot bless them. Nearly time for my last meds then bedtime so goodnight and God bless you and Colleen, love and hugs to you both Mary-Ellen UK
The shot penny to me is a true work of art 🙂 always enjoy your adventures see you on the next one 🙂👍
13:45 Looks like mouthpiece for telephone receiver.
What was the song that played as you drove your Rover to the spot? I have heard Australian folk music before and a lot of Irish and Scottish stuff too. (Parents were into thatvin the '80s) Mom drove a '67 Series II Land Rover 109 at times then. It had a Ford six truck engine fitted, so it ate itself at times. It was formerly property of National Geographic and used all over North Africa. Enameled country badges were bolted to the body all over. It was from Warwickshire, and I've noted Australian built ones in the States. Their was a dealer in Kamuela in the 1960s here (Big Island) That hinge could be anything. I've reutilised dug hinges & porcelain knobs on display cases I've made for antique bottles. Been slacking of late, only found a c1962 12 oz. painted Coca Cola.
Great video, I too metal detect here in Sussex, England. The history chit chat is marvelous - keep it up please....plus more shots of the Landie....

i bet they set that shot coin real close and were gonna brag to their buddies how good a shot they were and it went flying way out in the bush there or they didnt see where it landed..they could have used your AT back then...
That's what I was thinking!
Just wondering why you didn't mention the old shed or barn in the background i seen a few times in this video, love your videos.
You think he shot the penny in the air?
Very interesting and entertaining video. I also want to take this opportunity for your not begging for likes and subscribes like other posters. keep it up.
