I remember when my teacher had us capture ourselves doing motions like this for our animations. It was so weird! We didn't have mocap suits, only a video camera and we'd have to take certain poses and use them as references for our animations. But it's nice to see that they even do it in a professional setting as well. The stim animation was awesome~
Interesting how before Octane's balisong inspect animation had him do a Fan into his syringe stab instead of Double rollout into syringe stab. Also I really hope Loba's 3rd finiser will make it into the game! It looks sick
Yeah the fan looked way better imo. In the game, he doesn’t even do a double rollout, it makes no sense because he just flips it and then it’s magically closed.
After seeing that alternate idea for Loba's finisher, I imagined what her original passive might have been during development of the character/part of her passive: "When Loba successfully performs a finishing move on a downed opponent, she claims all of the weapon attachments immediately for her current weaponry (that the opponent had on them prior to death)" EDIT: That weirdly would have added to her personality as a bit of a brawler quite well actually....
Would get super annoying quickly, Imagine if you prefer having a 1x holo on your R-301 and suddenly you have a 2x- 4x Scope on it after a finisher out of nowhere.

So it would be entirely weapon specific attachments like "extended light mag level 2/standard stock level 3/barrel stabiliser level 1/anvil receiver have been added to your R-301" or you'd just look at your gun and they'd be there. Scopes should still be in the box chilling essentially!
