Hello Irene! This is a wonderful input on the quilting foot with ruler. Thank you 😊 Will you be tutoring improv quilt where we can practice quilting with ruler before the QAL starts in January. I guess that’ll be useful for many of us.
Now I know why I only tried ruler once and hated it.. I was trying to use my darning foot. Not even close to a ruler foot. Thank you for great and informative video, as usual.
I have singer machine. Can I do quilting with it it has c shape ruler. How can I take part in your project or competition of January? I never do quilting. But I know stitching. What should I do for this because I want to take part in it. Please answer my all qs
I checked Bernina’s Little Book of Feet and my guess would be #24, the free motion embroidery foot, since it’s the same shape as the part that fits on the BSR #40. Hope this helps!
Not only can you break a needle and ruler if you are using rulers with a non-ruler foot, but you can throw off your machine timing so stitches no longer can be stitched until you have an expensive sewing machine repair.
I am new to quilting and just purchased the 72S this video was very helpful !! Thank you !!

Thanks so much for all you do. I was going to ask which rulers to use and as always you already answered. I can’t wait to get started in the new QAL.

This was helpful! I am wondering what Bernina foot you would use for the free motion quilting when not using the ruler foot? Thanks!
