you make van camping look so fun and aesthetic, I'm usually not an outdoor person but this makes me want to rent a van 🥹 the site looks so peacefully perfect, it's such a shame about the pups! and totally agree, ego & insecurities in relationships does not mesh well, sometimes it takes a second to catch myself before acting standoff-ish too but it helps to have an understanding partner to grow with! PS the drone shots are gorgeous 😍
Omg you should totally look into renting a van! From a lot of the van life channels I watch, Canada seems to have so many amazing places to explore. Hopefully one day we can get the courage to take that road trip! And hey, it's never too late, I didn't get into my outdoorsy era until my 30s 😂

Love when you post videos on Sunday so I can chill and watch them. It got me thinking about how I need to spend more time outside enjoying nature. As a single guy I didn’t give it a second thought that he wanted to go home, that’s one of the benefits of camping close to home, I think! We’re blessed to have such beautiful nature right here in our backyard
Yes, definitely get outdoors, bring your fave foods and drinks and enjoy our city! We certainly pay a premium for our weather lol, so might as well enjoy!

I got the camp friendship bracelet ideas because I saw a friend posting about getting them at a concert he recently went too and I thought, what a cool way to connect and have some in the van in case we ever meet new people or friends/fam come visit us at a site. Honestly if your spouse is feeling crappy, it's just going to bring everyone else's good vibes down and then your trip becomes a bad experience and memory. Yes! We didn't need this negative energy and negative energy doesn't always have to be sinister or come from a place of trying to be negative. TBH, if he stayed we both would have probably came home emotionally drained and instead, we reunited back home both feelings great ❤️

Thanks sweetliz! I had heard about people giving away bracelets at Taylor Swifts concert lol so I got the idea from that! Always going to have a stash of bracelets in the van!
I did ask the ranger and he said that they don't want owners leaving their dogs unattended which is totally understandable. But maybe that should be the rule. At the end of the day, ended up being my fault as I looked at the Pet FAQ on their site when I got home and it did list no pet fence. I just never ran into that in any other campgrounds but at least now I know to check for it.
That looked like a nice place to camp. Sorry Donny didn't feel well enough to stay. That is crazy that you couldn't have the gate for the dogs. Why don't they just say no pets as they have so many restrictions'. My brother used to live in Santee. Is that where you said you were? Glad you enjoyed your mini vacation.
