    On the waterfall, you should get a very short hose and securely attach it to your water system. We actually have pipe tape on our hose, and found we needed to use 2 rubber gaskets instead of just 1. Do whatever it takes to get a short host setup that is water tight. Then when you need water, the attachment (the longer hose to the little tiny short hose) is outside your rig, and if it leaks, it leaks outside ;). and if you want to be extra pro you can put a small valve on the end of short hose so you can close it to insure you get no water in your rig!

      Thanks for the feedback. We ended up using a small hose with quick connects and cutoff valves on both sides. Works really well and haven’t had any accidents since. 😀

    The newer Revel is on the Sprinter AWD twin turbo high output platform. The acceleration and steering are much improved.

    Hi guys. In relation to the rattling noise of the kitchen vent while you drive, we added a standard rv vent insulator cushion 14"x14" and it really helps. It blocks the vacuum effect and stops the ratling!

    Another great video! Can you let me know how to find the drawer risers? It would certainly make the drawers more useful.

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  Месяц назад

      Here’s a revised response:
      Thanks for watching! The drawer risers are a DIY project we put together. We used wood dowels to attach the pieces to the drawers, but an easy alternative would be to use flat metal brackets. If you have access to a saw, you can cut the wood to the desired size and customize them to fit. There are companies that sell similar risers, but this DIY approach is much more budget-friendly.

    The voltage will tell you the State of Charge (SOC) of the battery. Very similar to an ebike. But you have to know the nominal system voltage so you can calculate "percentage" charge remaining. The wall display would need a computer to do that, which is why the app on your phone provides more data, because the phone is a handheld computer.

    Great videos, thank you! we recently got revel too and researching for upgrades - just have seen your 20 upgrades video)) what products did you use for those shallow drawers?

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  7 месяцев назад

      If you mean the drawer extensions to make them taller it was a DIY project. It is easy to do if you have a few tools.

      @@ExploreTrekAdventure Got it, thanks! Have a question about the stackable bins for the pantry shelves - what size did you use? I ordered large and they seem don't fit the section with vertical rails or am i doing it wrong?

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  7 месяцев назад +1

      We also have the large size. Just make sure the bump out part that has the handles is sticking out into the front. The cut out side would be in the back. It took a lot of force to get them into place.

    Awesome video!!! Thanks for posting. I’ve been researching the revels. Is the insurance expensive?

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  6 месяцев назад

      It wasn’t too bad but I suppose it depends on what you compare it to. We also are not full time which would be a bit cheaper and easier to find.

    Is it worth it to buy a revel? I’m thinking about buying one for full time living. I’m wondering about the resale value.

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  Месяц назад +1

      If you prioritize off-road capabilities and are willing to sacrifice some space, the Revel is a great option. While RVs are rarely a good financial investment, there is a strong resale market for Revels. Just keep in mind that most upgrades don’t add much to the resale value.

    • @sccphilly

      Thanks for the reply. Any advice on buying a Revel? I know most take out a 20 year rv loan with 20% down basically signing your life away.

    Where did you find the kitchen drawer risers please?

    • @ExploreTrekAdventure
      @ExploreTrekAdventure  7 месяцев назад

      We built them and it is a fairly simple DIY project. Grab a few boards, cut to length and screw them together. You can screw them to the drawers with a flat bracket or use wooden dowels like we did.
