Nice to see a realy world example use that most of us can relate to! Busting a freshly torqued 550fl.tb clean bolt is great and all but id rather see it in a tight space on a rusty old caliper bracket bolt or suspension bolt!
Higher amp does not just mean longer run time. The higher the amperage the higher the battery cell count and or bigger lithium battery cells within it. The more cells in it allow more wattage to be drawn because there’s more cells to provide the power. In the case of the high output batteries Milwaukee uses a different lithium cell size that’s just overall a better quality battery cell that allows a faster discharge /recharge rate without compromising the battery due to heat. I can assure you from personal experience my m18 1/2high output impact wrench hits much harder and faster with my 6.0 high output battery compared to the 5.0xc. If you really wanna see a difference use a drill or an impact to screw in some lag bolts into a chunk of wood. You’ll see the power difference between a smaller and bigger amp battery
@@glynnpowell7864Amp hours don’t tell the whole story. The tool doesn’t pull a consistent amperage throughout whatever it’s doing. I don’t want write a 3 paragraph essay here batteries are much more complicated then just voltage and amps

Why bother with the high Amp Hour Battery? For jobs like that it doesn’t make sense. Higher Amp Hour just means longer run time.
@didgeplayer that battery was used because it was right there and open

Or just watch some RUclips videos on it. There’s plenty of shorts of guys comparing battery’s sizes and shit
