what the hell? I just ordered the 3/8 and 1/2 new stubbys from Home depot about 30 minutes before watching this video and the TTC video. Those steel clips to retain the battery actually destroy the batteries, and this is the 3rd video i have seen of the tool heating up in less than1 minute of continous use. Just cancelled the order and now picking up the old 3/8 stubby. Tried and tested.
У меня иногда бывает то же самое, выключается с миганием, и делают разные инструменты и с разными аккумуляторами. Что это такое, я так и не понял. Случаи такого поведения внезапно сами прекратились.
Thank you for sharing. Other forums talk about similar battery drainage, overheating, change in ergonomics which result in unintentional power setting change. I needed a torque wrench and was debating between new Stubby (2562) and old stubby (2554). Decide to buy “old” Stubby in 3/8” because it has been proven over the years and I also no not need more torque. Lastly, new Stubby can only reach the advertised numbers with the new Forge battery.
@@Tony_The_Monk Who is asking you? I bet I'm way handy with the spanners than you and I know more tricks to loosen a stuck bolt rather by pressing a single button and pray to loosen bcs you don't know what else to do with it. But don't worry, I have an impact wrench (more than 1) too.
It sounds nice on the work bench but doesn't work in real life like that. It can't loosen basic fasteners. I have never seen an impact fail at removing a strut mounting bolt/nut on video.

Creates more heat and more power is the trade off. How does the metal clip ruin the batteries?
Once I saw those hand gloves I knew it wasn't going be good! Lol
i had to pour another glass of scotch to make it through this, do it over.

reach out to Milwaukee with this video? Mine has been just amazing. Perhaps you have a defective unit.
thats what they all say.... they can live with it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would wait a year b4 getting this new stubby or any other power tools so milwaukee can fix all the quirks that did not come through testing if any.
It has a five year warranty sooooooo just keep your reset 😊
Make the video way shorter and quick to the point then this video will blow up

Am sure his is defective....idk if it's the battery or the tool.....but mines never do this at all.
