Very unbiased review. Great work lady. Its a hyped up tool, no wonder it went on sale just few weeks after being made to the public. And still on sale and its been a month now. I got both the 1/2 and 3/8. Did not like the mode change, keep putting in neutral. Returned both and keeping Gen1 3/8. This tool literally eats batteries. Not just drain. The steel prongs inside chip away at the new HO batteries. And you did make a video of it also. Yeah yeah yeah... Milwaukee makes the best tools. Well said at the end. dont want to upset the milwaukee fan boys :)
I currently own the old stubby and his been great. I like how it is able to stop at 5 foot pounds or 10. What I use it to fix washer dryers but I also work on cars and it’s great on valve covers things like that(mechanical). I just can’t wrap my head around spending 200+ dollars, and I can’t seem to like that switch, I have large to medium hands and I think it’ll be a problem.I did get that old stubby for around one 150. Home Depot had a good sale with the four battery and the stubby so I pulled the trigger on that. Other than that good review!
Keep your original & swap that new one out for the m18 mid torque & a forge 6.0 or 8.0 battery. That thing may be your new favorite impact. It can handle pretty much anything in the suspension & ABSOLUTELY has more jam than the new stubby.
Don’t buy the hype it’s not worth it at all just keep your old one and it’s not even close to 550 ft lbs with a 5 amp battery someone lied about the new 2 gen stubby.
I have a Gen 2 stubby. I was trying to change some rear shocks that was supposed to be torqued to 66ft lbs. With a 6 amp hour battery fully charged it failed to break the bolts loose. A bit of a disappointment.
If you have your broken 6.0 still and you're interested in salvaging it, if it's still operable; try buying the replacement shell off of eBay or Amazon. I've been doing this for years; using the og unbroken pieces swapped with the new 3rd party pieces. Good luck
M12 made tons of mistakes, the battery fit is off , the handle is huge bigger than my 24 volt tools , they are super expensive , my flex tools are almost the same size with alot more power , and the angle of the tool is very awkward
You get the biggest XGT impact for the same money. This is just beyond crazy. Milwaukee calm down... At this point they're just milking the hype.

If you already have 3/8" drive, then think about getting another one (gen 1 or 2) in 1/2" drive.

I been a mechanic for 50 years I love my Milwaukee the king
Cool. I have the gen 1 3/8" drive stubby. I really like the lights and power on the gen 2, but the selector system is problematic, as you mentioned.

I haven't posted the video yet but I never seen an impact not be able to loosen basic strut mounting bolt.
It’s definitely not what they claimed to be it’s a turd even with the 5amp battery.
@@keysautorepair6038 I bought the Dewalt mid size impact based on Torque Test Channels testing. That thing is a beast for its size.
To like it you got to use it on cars I love it it the best

Its a big jump in power from 250 ----> 550 ?

Few times now I’ve bumped the switch getting into tight spots.. kinda annoying
I got no problem with the I got from Home Depot
Yeah it's not made to remove crank bolts and lug nuts consistently
What do you think you use 500ft-lbs for? 😆
Wtf $350 that better come with 3 , 5ah batteries & 2 impacts
That is fake it on the beams
🤦🏽
