I also have an EV6 and bought a booster box for this very reason. Thanks for the refresher on how to use it as I have never had to actually use mine. EV's are notoriously hard on lead-acid 12v batteries as they never pull high amperage for starting. Instead they just continuously draw down the battery slowly. When you need a replacement battery it might be a good idea to consider a deep cycle AGM battery or Lithium ion; or just replace the battery every 2 years.
To quote ev6 user manual: "NOTICE Do not connect the jumper cable from the negative terminal of the booster bat-tery to the negative terminal of the dis-charged battery. This can cause the discharged battery to overheat and crack, releasing battery acid. Make sure to connect one end of the jumper cable to the negative terminal of the booster battery, and the other end to a metallic point, far away from the battery." The picture in manual is not clear enough to show where the grounding point is. In my experience what worked was to attach the black clamp to a steel screw in the upper right corner
That advice is for jumper cables not a high tech box like the NOCO GB 150 Also another thing I've experienced in seventeen years of jump starting a vehicle is that jump points suck. If you try over and over and it doesn't work and your wife wants it figured out ASAP put the negative clamp on the negative and it will start way faster, so do whatever you want, but Dodge Charger, Challenger, Jeep Grand Cherokee, BMW, Mercedes and many more will leave you there looking stupid asf not starting, then I come along and it starts right up.

They have an issue with the batteries recharged, but their 12 V system goes down, so they're jumping the 12 V system.
