- This video tells how to father's love sacrificing his life to provide his daughter happiness
The story is told from the perspective of a daughter who wrote a letter to her father, and the father is now reading the letter as they walk, presumably to school. The letter begins by describing how amazing the father is, simultaneously the video shows what is being said. It seems like a normal enough letter, until she writes “he lies”. At this point she writes how her father lies about being, happy, having a job, having everything, not being hungry, etc…. She then says “he lies for me” . Video ends by saying “A child’s future is worth every sacrifice”

My father paased away last year due to cerebral stroke. He was a Doctor and he was one who inspired me to become a Doctor too. Without his guidance and support, I couldn't have come this far.

I'm 15 years old when I first watched this. Now I'm 23 but still can't stop tears fall from my eyes when watching this. The film is an emotional and heart touching story, about a single father reading a letter written to him by his young daughter. The letter begins as any letter a child would write to her father describing him as smart, sweet and kind. The video shows the dad always smiling, making his daughter laugh. It also shows him walking his daughter to school wearing a suit, buying her ice cream, and tipping the waiter at a restaurant. She says he’s the most handsome dad in the world and calls him her superman.
The father expects the rest of the letter to also be words of praise for him from his daughter, but then she writes that he lies. She writes that he lies about having a job and money, he lies about not being tired and not being hungry. The video shows the father not able to find a good job and shows him doing a variety of jobs including washing windows, and doing manual labor. The girl writes that her father lies about being happy all the time and having everything because of her.
This makes the father break down in tears and hug his daughter in an emotional scene which touches your heart, and shows the lengths to which fathers will go to give their children the best they possibly can at the cost of their own comfort. The film ends with the message that a child’s future is worth every sacrifice.
