But because he requires a higher level of care, his siblings get to opt out? Shut up, your empathy is exclusively for the siblings and not this man who will not have a quality life once his parents die. His parents did it for 40 years, and his siblings can figure out how to help him, for his end of life care.

CCP developed good business on selling organs to whole world(only 2-3 weeks waiting, watch China Uncensored and Serpenza channels).CCP western ideology for enslaving people and is above government, has no elections,NO SEXUAL HARASSMENT LAWS etc.1.) Geopoliticalfutures article:"The World Bank began tracking poverty in China in 1981. In that year, 88.3 percent of China’s population lived on less than $1.90 a day (roughly 870 million people). Push the threshold up a little bit and poverty in China was even more striking: 99.1 percent of China’s population lived on less than $3.10 a day (over 980 million people). The last year for which the World Bank has official data is 2010, and the transformation, as you can see in the line graph above, is extraordinary. In 2010, only 11.2 percent (almost 150 million people) lived on less than $1.90 a day. Not shown above is that 27.2 percent (almost 360 million people) lived on less than $3.10 a day.
However, the problem with these data sets should already be clear. If you factor in population growth, you can make the claim that China has lifted 800 million people out of poverty if you define poverty as living on less than $1.90 or $3.10 a day. This doesn’t say anything about how well those lifted out of poverty are doing. A rural household living on $1.91 a day by this standard wouldn’t be counted as suffering from extreme poverty, even though by any objective measure a household earning that much on an annual basis would be cripplingly poor."...
2.)Telegraph.UK:" 1978, nine out of 10 people in China’s population of a billion were struggling to survive on an income below the “extreme poverty line”, set by the World Bank at just under $2 a day.
Today, the pyramid has been flipped on its head. As a result, almost all the more than 1.3 billion individuals who previously would have spent most of their life hungry have doubled their calorie intake"...(notice the change from numbers to calories, while not mentioning that chinese are slaves now for 6 billion people, but get only double the calories).5 DEMANDS! If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven.
The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved.
JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.'
Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late.
We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now...
'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my life. In Jesus name - Amen.

Videos like this help me so much as an outsider. My neighbor has a son with ASD similar in nature to Duane. When I first moved in they invited me over to his birthday and it was clear they were attempting to connect as he frequently goes outside to vocalize--yell, sing, etc.--and I'm sure it's not the easiest conversation to have with a neighbor.
He's a good kid. I'm not saying that because it's he has ASD and he automatically gets a pass or something. He happens to be loud and disruptive, sure, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he's good. Living next to him has made me really evaluate how I look at others. I don't have to like when he's outside being loud, and frankly it's not my responsibility as a stranger to tolerate it. But I'm honored and humbled that I get to, because it's shaped me in ways that has tangibly improved my quality of life.
I'm a decent guy, but I'm no saint. Accepting my neighbor's kid doesn't make me a good person. Rather, how the parents look at him is, in a very minor way, how my neighbor is changing me. He's loud because it's comforting to him in a way I can't possibly empathize with, and I'm so happy to have him change my perspective on how to interact with others. Both those with ASD and without. Someone cuts me off in traffic? It's so hard to simply rage at that individual now. That's reckless and could harm themselves or others. Are they rushing to the hospital? Did they have a terrible day and aren't thinking straight? It's so hard now to assume everyone I meet is just some burden on my schedule. I don't have to excuse them, but I can try to understand. What does it cost me to do that much?
I need videos like this because I have to give back to my neighbors. They know full well that I accept them and do not mind the noise--they have enough to worry about without having to constantly worry if I'm about to go rage on their son for interrupting me or something. But I can do more to help him feel like just another person in the world. Build a routine with a neighbor like anyone else. Wave when I'm gardening, smile when I see him...just be a neighbor to another neighbor.
He's different in ways that are difficult for his family and others to tolerate, of course. But he's also forced me to build an empathy within myself--a whole aspect that I can be proud of--and that should be recognized too. I don't blame anyone that would be unable to tolerate this situation at all. But speaking solely for myself, it's been nice to accept that someone can be difficult and also good and beautiful.
I mean, hell...I'm certain I'm a straight pain in the ass too, even if it's not as apparent.

Depends on the family. It's been relatively easy in my family, because most of us are autistic. That includes me, my sibling, my father, my grandmother, and probably individuals further back. It was actually the neurotypical ones in the family that were a struggle to deal with, and they oftentimes ended up getting rejected from the family for causing issues.
Other families have an opposite story, but it varies. Same goes for families with ADHD, where it's usually the case that most immediate relatives don't have ADHD but almost half or a little less do, and so there's oftentimes a lot of conflict between the neurotypical parents of ADHD children and vice versa. Point is that it doesn't just go for families where autism is present, it becomes difficult for parents when their child has even the most common of neurological/neurodevelopmental/mental conditions. Whether it's autism, ADHD (or anything else), point still stands. Autism is not unique here.

Look into a functional medicine doctor or naturopath. A lot of times these issues can stem from an unhealthy gut, poor diet (nutritional deficiencies), and an overactive mind. A behavioral therapist and meditation could be useful.
I was diagnosed with adhd, GAD, and depression and nutritional therapy and working on gut health has been a game changer. I almost dropped out of high school I was so bad. I'm now in my mid 20s, own a house, am married with a dog, have 2 jobs, and am going to school.
These issues are complicated but working with a professional (not a traditional MD) can help.

Majority of people in the world does not even comprehend the amount of sacrifice and effort the parents had to endure having a child with autism. My son is now 11 years old. He was diagnose with autism when he was 6 years old. The parents really need to be very dedicated and faithful. You really need God's help when there is nothing else you can do. Especially when he has bad days or meltdown. It's very hard for a parent to see their child going through it. I'm glad I ran by to this video. Kudos to the parents.

Duane seems to be like my brother a lot. My brother started off non-verbal, he went through speech therapy to become verbal although he does not always speak properly, he does most of the time. He is super shy and has extreme social anxiety but ironically he was always the most popular kid at his schools because he was very considerate, helpful, and acted as a guardian to others. He has a self-less personality. Even the vocational school/day care center we have him at now says that although he keeps hiding from people and refusing to engage socially besides activities, they love him so much that they are willing to let him stay despite the fact he hasn't made progress in his social issues in a long time.
The BIGGEST worry for people who care for special needs people (whether it's physical or mental disabilities) is what happens when you're not around. How will they life when you're not around ever again? Will people abuse them? Will patient and open-minded people treat them human and not confuse them for some violent drug addicts or creeps just cause they happen to yell and throw a hissy fit in public?
One of the blessings of this time we are living in is the "MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MOVEMENT" that spread like wildfire on social media especially. For people with mental health issues and mental illnesses to share their experiences and try to connect with people. There is a popular yt channel by a guy that interviews people with various special needs and rare conditions to show to the world that they are human and not to be feared. We need more understanding for people with Autism and down syndrome because us who love them and live with them at home are tired of being in a society where they are treated as people who cannot feel or connect. Like they are empty husks with no emotion and cannot understand your words or actions in the slightest. Like they cannot learn and grow just like the rest of us.
Please, if you don't know what it's like to have a loved one on the spectrum. Treat them like normal people, do not be scared and do not think they have 0 understanding. If you see a person talking to themself and hitting themself on the head frantically, don't automatically assume it is drugs or that they are a violent schitzo. For some people on the spectrum that's just what they do and they are acting out an impulse like some of you impulsively check social media every 2 minutes. There is SO much to learn. And we need to make a lot of progress so that these people can have brighter futures and live independently without fear of being mishandled and ignored.
My brother is aware he has autism, and he is aware that most people think he is just crazy or on drugs. He's said to me before that even his teachers - the people who he is supposed to trust don't believe him or listen to him when he tries to tell them something important. Because they think he doesn't know what he is talking about. Honestly the best school my brother ever attended was his high school. The staff there were all perfect from the school security to the principal. They really helped those students grow and I wish more facilities and schools meant to deal with special needs kids were like that.
Anyhow. I want nothing but the best future for Duane and his parents. And for those of you who deserve it.
