AI Analysis: The CEO of Boeing made an announcement at the Farnborough Air Show that despite ongoing challenges with the Boeing 777X program, the aircraft had reached a significant milestone: it had received its Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This is a critical step in the certification process, marking progress toward making the aircraft commercially operational. Additionally, the CEO highlighted a positive development in the form of a large order from Qatar Airways, which included 20 new 777-9s and other freighter variants. This showcased confidence in the aircraft's potential, even as Boeing works through technical challenges like thrust link cracks and regulatory scrutiny. The overall message was that while the 777X program is facing delays and issues, Boeing remains committed to overcoming these hurdles and delivering a highly advanced and efficient aircraft in the future.

Too many errors in spellings and wrong footage of planes when it mentions 747sp it shows a 747-8 and it goes on and on with wrong footage or rather lack of actual footage...
Boeing was not ahead of it's time. They have always lagged behind Airbus the original flyby-wire commercial innovators. Boeing decided to chase shareholder returns over getting the job done right. No longer safety first.
Please ditch the AI. Regarding the 777X, the biggest problem is that the majority of 777-300ER's it is supposed to replace aren't that old and less than 10 years of age. Slightly ahead of it's time marketing wise.
Naval planes have had folding wings for years. Boeing is just getting incompetent with their complacency. That's how airbus caught them in the first place.
The flight test program is successful. Its purpose is to find problems to fix. The 777X has major advancements, including carbon fiber wings and the biggest and most efficient engines ever made. So, lots of work to ensure the finished product is good.
Well, after all that, I don't believe you told us of the INSANE announcement the CEO made. And I'm willing to bet that it was from a past CEO also. It has always rankled me during a lifetime as an airline pilot, that any announcement, even if it is only about the shape of the ash-trays in the seats, it is always made with world shattering drama to make it seem far more important than it really is. In today's environment, it is all about getting dollars from RUclips, and stretching the video as far as humanly possible. I wonder how old I will have to get before I spot this as CLICK-BAIT and pass it by without reading this crap.
These current AI voices and generated videos are annoying me now, it's where I immediately stop watching and tell youtube to never recommend from that channel.
Safety and attention to detail used to be how I viewed Boeing, but it's no longer how I view them after all the issues, whistle blowers and whistle blower murders.
The problem here is that Boeing attempted to market this variant of the Triple Seven simply as a minor upgrade to its predecessor. However, a closer examination reveals that nearly everything about the aircraft has changed, making it effectively a completely new plane. This highlights yet another reason why Boeing cannot be trusted to certify its own aircraft.
Too much introduced in one plane. We all know that maturity is mendatory. Airline biz never was that type of experiment. You change one detail a time. I saw the automotive bean counters entering the biz mid 2000s and all those guys developed 737, 747, A3xx, ... predicted what happened. It was obvious.
The difference between this channel and a channel like Mentour Pilot is AI. This channel is crap in comparison. If you want a channel people will take serious, you don't use effing AI to narrate the content. You get in there personally. This is nothing but clickbait and a lot of blah-blah-blah.
If you are going to use AI, at least use the most recent information. Boeing has been seen changing thrust links, which presumably means restarting the test program.
I wish the 777X was as they say here but sadly no. It was not at Farnborough because Boeing were in turmoil over substantial testing problems. It would not have missed the chance to exhibit if all was well but sadly no, all was not well. I am a fan of both manufacturers and Boeing needs Airbus as much as Airbus needs Boeing, competition is good but the lack of confidence in Boeing has to be addressed and mistakes need to be owned by the company. I wish both well because this is where progress and safety is forged through competition and ongoing innovation. All these modern aircraft are amazing and I love to see technology forging ahead but it cannot be only groundbreaking it must be safe too and that must be the No1 consideration so as to gain the flying public's confidence. Nothing less will suffice and we all know it!
No, the script was correct, the lack of a 777X at Farnborough was because of using it for testing. The thrust link problem only was detected after Farnborough.
The Queen of the Skies(not all models though) had the ability to "Ferry" a extra engine. I believe the Air India plane that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean was ferrying a engine from Canada back to India. If memory serves correct the 707 could do this as well. Hope this helps
Losers will ask why bother with the 777x. Quitter never win. Developmental headaches are part of the game, either play or lose. If it's just modification of the 777 right, no in fact it is not. The 747SP comparison is nonsense.
They really have lost the race to AirBus and I very much doubt if thy will really catch up, and this is what happens when you put accountants in charge.
Love to see the 777X folding and extending its wing tip... Wow. The most powerful GE9 engine 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 But just demonstrate all those by staying on the ground, cause people need safe flying experience over whatever Boeing is today. Now Boeing fans pls don't feel bad cause i don't care. I have a very huge alternative called Airbus and at times in emergency even the new Comac can fly better. Love you Boeing.
Would soemone please educate this announcer about how to pronounce the words in the script he is reading? 747 ES? How about seven-four-sevens without the ESS after 747. He misprounces words in other videos he has narrated as well. He needs to find an english coach to finish his use of the language.
Gawd I hate it when AI narrates
Do you remember the 90 "s"?

Horrible robot voice.
Thx for saving everyone time
I cannot see the point of AI Narration and it stinks. Is nobody out there capable of drafting and delivering a few pages of text ?

Thanks, you just save me 20 minutes😉
thanks

Don't bury the lede, GET TO THE F'ING POINT. What is the announcement? I gave up several minutes into the video. Downvoted.
Ditto. Its bad when you go to the comments to read a summary of the video. And don't get me started on all the "1970S" instead of "1970's"
To be birthed is to secure a ship in a harbour birth.
If they would fire executives over engineers they would have less problems.
No longer safety first.
can you prompt your AI to be less repetitive?
About time the FAA started regulating Boeing
This video does not include a single image of a 747SP, although it mentions it several times.
Please ditch the AI.

Naval planes have had folding wings for years. Boeing is just getting incompetent with their complacency. That's how airbus caught them in the first place.
Boeing is no longer an engineering company, that's the problem.
Indeed.
That's exactly what people don't understand and that's why they're failing and killing people
And they seem to be such a wonderful company before they got with McDonnell Douglas you took over their mission statement
@@curlybill7618 And Douglas and McDonnell were good companies years ago, before their merger.
This video gets a down arrow due to it digitised voice.
I cannot finish listening to that voice.
The flight test program is successful. Its purpose is to find problems to fix.
The 777X has major advancements, including carbon fiber wings and the biggest and most efficient engines ever made. So, lots of work to ensure the finished product is good.

It is easy to imagine that Boeing is now selling the aircraft as cheaply as possible to avoid competition from Airbus.
Quality vs price?
The merger from hell is still is not far from being a terminal cancer.
These current AI voices and generated videos are annoying me now, it's where I immediately stop watching and tell youtube to never recommend from that channel.
Safety and attention to detail used to be how I viewed Boeing, but it's no longer how I view them after all the issues, whistle blowers and whistle blower murders.
BA got cheap on us. Fired high paying engineers and hired third party from India.
ahead of time with delays, interesting concept.
It's a beautiful looking aircraft. Hopefully it will soon be ready to enter service.

The FAA also required updating flight controls to the latest standards, which contributed to delays.

This is nothing but clickbait and a lot of blah-blah-blah.
Right, Mentour has a real airline pilot doing the explanations!
This would be far better if a human were speaking.
Nice recap but kind of a waste of time… there’s no announcement that has JUST been made. A classic RUclips trap.
If you are going to use AI, at least use the most recent information. Boeing has been seen changing thrust links, which presumably means restarting the test program.
Yet another click-bait title! And yes, I watched it all - no "INSANE Announcement" from the CEO... 😝
DEI = hire idiots = how could this become a disaster?

Amazing, at 11:51 the 1000th 777, I flew with this plane from Düsseldorf to Dubai.
Since when did the Quantas 747 @ 4.31 in the video have 5 engines or is that an AI glitch>
The Queen of the Skies(not all models though) had the ability to "Ferry" a extra engine. I believe the Air India plane that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean was ferrying a engine from Canada back to India. If memory serves correct the 707 could do this as well. Hope this helps

Make the prompt nineteen-ninties so AI doesn't read it as 1990 S. It will make the AI voice less apparent.
Is 1970-S a different decade than the one I lived ??????? GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW !!
This is a Boeing commercial
OK we won't believe. That's a good way to start your video.
skip to minute 12 to get anything important
Why do you keep saying 747s? When it's 747's
It's not a model number it's plural of 747
Way too many errors in this video and the AI commentary drives me nuts!
A lot od fill and old news. Calhoun isn't even CEO any longer.
They really have lost the race to AirBus and I very much doubt if thy will really catch up, and this is what happens when you put accountants in charge.
Who cares what the pilots like? Their arrogant over paid butts can be replaced by 10 people waiting on their job. Next contestant
Seems like this info is about 2 months old. Nothing new here!
on 15 seconds of real content a the very end
If its a Boeing I aint going!
The TTV you use is frustrating to listen to.
Almost as many errors in the commentary as there are in a 737. This rubbish dis credits an already shaky reputation.
The dreadful narration and “quicly” do nothing to recommend this video. Must try harder.
CLICK BAIT HEADLINE. 99% is history only. Thumbs down.
And back then Boing havent just lied to the FAA ans murdered 400 or 500 people while is CEO brags about how proud he is about all the murderer...
Another crappy foreign channel with a AI robot voice beating a dead horse
Instead of 1990's the narration says 1990-S. Must be An Ay video. I mean AI video, sorry!
Brevity, brevity, brevity.

Plane is too heavy
This is a wow video, i highly appreciate all the energy you must have put in it. Everybody can easily understand it.
Click bait - nothing new
oh yeah i mean what could go wrong with those folding wing tips
OMG the smalest failure (the engine suport broke man the second hold on but no one nows why) He lost an engine thats nothing you got two of them...
3:01 “boenig”
Love to see the 777X folding and extending its wing tip... Wow.
The most powerful GE9 engine 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

AI narrator
this ai sounds terrible
Well what can you expect, it’s a Boeing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 made in USA 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lazy AI production.
Is this a boeing commercial? It seems like it, bah
Thumbs down because of the computer voice. =PC=
1990-S?
777 300 air... um... what?
ER - not air. The sound track is wrong.
Bla bla bla… waste of time video! DON’T watch!
This video is nothing but AI generated rambling BS - You have absolutely no chance of a subscribe or even a like from me for this piss poor effort
AI generic repetitive waist of time
Just another channel chewing out AI garbage...
Click-bate garbage!
The grammer in this video is awful. Shit AI again.
YAWN!!!!!!!
Aì sucks. Im tired of listening to this type of narration.😊
777 Ex
This is one dumb video
Is the saviour of Boeing is to change their WHOLE management "team" with engineers and whilstle blowers?
AI Slop
SOUNDS LIKE AIRBUS TROLLS. SMHE.
