Why would Rolls Royce DESTROY the industry it supplies?

Good video 100% the ultra fan is going to be massive. Prob is I hope RR have sorted out production lines to manage the orders. As GE etc have nothing to compare to this new engine

Wrong, RR has resolved the Trent 1000 corrosion issue. Get your faces right. RR now is selling the Trent 1000-TEN engine and i see them being built every week

@ the problems and delays with the RB 211 in the 70s pretty much destroyed Lockheeds commercial division, the continuing Trent 1000 issues with 787 has fleets grounded and slow repairs mean planes are out of service for long periods of time, the 1000s are also aging poorly and aren’t as durable as competitor engines, the 7000s have poor quality issues from the factory, the fuel lines need replacing in the XWB-97s on A350s, and those were grounded for inspection. And let’s not forget the grounding for inspections of A380s with the Trent 900s a short time ago.

How revolutionary can the Rolls Royce engine be when it uses the same tech as the Pratt engine, geared front fan?

Lets see... So far about a decade late and RR has removed several features that would have made it better - but RR decided were too expensive to develop as part of this project and were dropped about mid development of the Ultra-fan long ago.
Does RR think GE is standing still? My guess is that by the time RR comes out with the Ultrafan that GE will have essentially a pretty equivalent engine.
As for Power by the Hour.... RR has been loosing massively on those contracts.... which is why RR has such money problems.
The biggest issue is that all those Trent Engines that had problems cost vastly more to RR to maintain or repair than the power by the hour contracts paid for.
I don't see that the ultrafan engine is going to be that much of a game changer.

It's more likely that Rolls Royce will be destroyed by technical issues with the Ultrafan, judging by the Trent problems that have endured for more than a decade.

Why did he want to destroy the entire aviation industry, does he own a shipping company and want the work to go back to the 1910's

This looks more like a death sentence to me. With pem hydrogen electric aviation soon available for regional flights. Turbo engines are a death end for aviation. Only consuming too much expensive efuel in the near future. The adjustable fan and gears will generate some cash a bit longer. Electric aviation is two/three times more efficient and requires less maintenance.

This video could have been: Rolls Royce are making a lighter more powerful engine that can scale from Narrow Body to Wide Body aircraft. Not happening until 2030 😂 absolutely useless AI content

COMPLETE BULLSHIT ! RR has BUNGLED it's Engines Look at what they did to the A380 :
Grossly missrepresented their Wonder engine So much so that the A380 NEVER managed to meet it's design specs.
Currently Emirates is re-engining their 138 ! A380's with Capable engines for Much higher performance and efficiency.
Only thing amazing about RR is their Audacity to BULLSHIT about their products.

Where did you hear that Emirates are re-engining the A380s? There's zero evidence of that I can find anywhere on the Internet.

Indeed, i can t see that. Besides, apart from durability, the efficiency seems on par with united engines A380 engine. The A380 was developed with the wrong engines, namely just before there was a huge increase of efficiency of jet engines was witnessed as on the 787.

Yes, let's just ignore the geological record. CO2 was 3000ppm in the Jurassic - what kind of cars were those dinosaurs driving?
