What a great songwriter he is. I think he doesn’t mean it literally, he just means he’s Talking or thinking out loud, and the only thing he can see is the moon while he’s mourning or missing her. He’s simply hoping she’s thinking of him too in my opinion
Love Bruno. He’s the whole package…musician, songwriter, singer and dancer. Saw him in 2011 at a casino in Reno NV when he was just starting to get big.

This song always hits. 1st time I heard this song I had just joined the Army at the time and my wife sent me a iPod nano (yes that long ago) with this song and I was still in training. Put this on and I cried 😂 we were just dating at the time. I was gone for like 6 months from Basic Training to Advance Individual Training.

I've heard a lot of Bruno but this one was new to me. I saw him with Anderson Paak as Silk Sonic last weekend in Las Vegas. Talking about a singer entertainer. That's Bruno, one of the best. You should listen/watch him sing When I was Your Man.
