- Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in today's video we are starting a new section in a series I began last year, where I react to a certain artists full videography. I decided to begin making my way through Taylor Swift's who videography because people were tweeting about all the easter eggs in the "Look What You Made Me Do" video, but I realised I'd never actually seen it. So here we go...

Blank space is genius because literally the whole thing is satire. Taylor took every misogynistic caricature that the media had created for her and turned it in to one of the most memorable bangers of the decade with this video where she completely plays the character everyone claimed she was
The fishbowl symbolizes her life in the public eye and how her boyfriend chooses to swim with her even if it means he'll get his privacy compromised, because he really loves her.

You are right about the dress in LWYMMD! OOTW music video was the last “official” music video of the 1989 era. LWYMMD was the first music video of the reputation era. So it ended with the blue dress in OOTW and began with her rising from the grave in the blue dress since her reputation was damaged from everything that happened in 2016. So good!

The out of the woods video is just a masterpiece I will never get over it. I've always thought that the wolves are the paparazzi and media coming after the relationship (which is the woods) because it felt like everyone had something to say about the relationship this song is about. The fact that she's wearing a paper airplane necklace, the change of seasons, everything about it is just so *chefs kiss*
Every room in the house from Lover was a different colour for all of her albums. Each album especially now for the re-recordings. A log of 1989 was about the anxiety she felt when dating Harry. They knew it wouldn't work out but wanted to try anyway but the media attention was way worse compared to her other relationships. It was the same dress because out of the woods was the last music video she released before her hiatus.
Okay, so the green room at the bottom left is Taylor Swift, the one above that (yellow) is Fearless, the one above that (light blue) is 1989, the black attic is Reputation, the pink room next to the attic is Lover, the one below that is Red and the bottom right (dark blue) is Speak Now? I don't get why Speak Now is dark blue, as opposed to purple though haha, but it's a really cool concept! Could it even be true that back then she was already hinting that the first re-recording would be Fearless, since they begin and end in a yellow room as well?
the harry thing always makes me sad. til this day they’re still friends, and that only proves how much they cared for each other. i’ve always said, that if it wasn’t bc of the OBSESSIVE media attention, if they kept the relationship private, it would’ve worked out.
taylor never said a bad thing about harry, and viceversa, the fact that the anxiety and fear that they felt was put into their lives -being both of them really private persons- by people who didn’t had anything else to do with their lives is just sad. media is really the worst thing ever.

Okay, here for some badass Sagittarius easter eggs lesson:
*rolls up sleeves like mama taught us*
1) Graveyard scene: already explained in a lot of comments Out of the woods zombie taylor and blah blah, I add the fact that the Taylor buried in the pink dress is her at 2014 met gala. One of the graves has on the Nils Sjoberg name on it, a pseudonym used by taylor in the songwriting credits of "This is what you came for" by Calvin Harris (her ex) and Rihanna.
2) Bathtub scene: Taylor 1 dollar win on the DJ that sued her. She bites the jewerly, symbolizing how the media called her "money hungry" when writing songs about her life. 3) Snake queen scene: the throne she stays on says "Et tu Brute", referring to Julius Cesar and his son betraying him, like everybody did to her at that time. The throne is surrounded, at the end, by 13 snakes (her lucky number)
4) Car crash scene: it is about her Red album not winning album of the year at the grammys. the first line of the song "Red" actually says: driving a new maserati down a dead end street.
The shop in the background pokes fun at Kim Kardashian and the heist at her shop in Paris in 2016.
the cheetah is another joke about Kim, she particularly wore a cheetah costume in 2013 and used that animaliér clothing a lot in those years.
5) gold cage scene: she's wearing orange, like a prisoner, symbolizing how she got framed and trapped for the kanye-kim drama in 2016 and how she had to disappear from the public. on a leg she has a snake...like Kendall Jenner's tattoo, who used to be a friend of Taylor before the drama. The mouse on the table she's having dinner on pokes fun on how people used to say she looked like one. (Idiots. She's an angel).
6) Robbery scene: She's robbing a bank on which red led sign you can read STREAM.CO as she's been fighting with streaming services for musicians' fair pay.
7) Motobikes scene: Referring to the fact that she carried the weight of her record "Big Machine", cause she told us she knew since 2016 that her masters would be sold and that Scott Borchetta wasn't giving her the possibility to buy them. She said in 2019 that maybe it would have taken decades for us to realize some easter eggs in the video, cause she never thought she would be rerecording all of her previous albums, but she had to when she saw scooter braun buying the masters and the whole label. We actually got the explanation for this easter egg way earlier than she thought in 2019.
8) Squad scene: she's dressed as a mistress with a bunch of plastic perfect girls, referring to the media talking sh*t about her girls squad, saying that she selected them based on fame and beauty, throwing them away when she didn't need them anymore (that's why she's surrounded by broken "dolls" in the following frame)
9) Men on heels scene: Taylor's breaking into a hall and all her ex boyfriends stand up frightened and follow every move she makes. It is a clear reference to what the media said about her being a mean serial dater, taking advantage of her romantic situations for clout and being manipulative. later she commands them to show their crop top which says "I love TS", referring to the shirt Tom Hiddleston (her ex) wore in some paparazzi pic in 2016 (here's the link for the pic: www.henspark.com/celebrity/tom-hiddleston-revealed-truth-heart-taylor-swift-shirt-20170208.html )
10) Old Taylors scene: we see Reputation Taylor standing on the top, pushing away all old Taylors trying to get to her. She's not allowing her past drama bounce back on her anymore. Little details: Fearless taylor has a 13 on her right hand, and you belong with me taylor has an updated shirt on which a lot of her friends' name had been changed. the name Ed (sheeran) is on a sleeve, the same place where Ed actually has a "RED" tattoo, honoring Taylor's album on which he collab.
11) Oh cause she's dead! scene: She picking up a call saying she can't come to the phone. This symbolize how she shouldn't have answered the infamous Kanye's call in 2016 for the song "Famous", the one Kim illegally recorded and later edited. She's not picking up anymore the call who started the drama.
12) Dancing Taylor: She makes fun of the media saying she wasn't good at dancing. so she proves them wrong. (ICONIC IF YOU ASK ME). At the end of the scene, a dancer grabs her butt, like the DJ that sued her (...) did. (as**ole)
13) Plane/Old Personas scene: She's cutting the wings of a plane, and there's no album between 1989 and Reputation!!! She said that!!! The right meaning of the easter egg is actually that She's not allowing all the personas she's been portrayed for years taking the flight around the world anymore. She cuts the wings and writes REPUTATION on the plane, thus saying that she takes control of her narrative with this album.
All 15 taylors ( each one representing a song on reputation) are fighting with eachother. One calling another a victim, another one saying she's always surprised, the cheetah one saying she's recording and editing everything (LOL Kim K impression on point), and one of them calling a "b*tch" the 1989 zombie taylor, like Kanye did in the song "Famous" (that's why she responds with DON'T CALL ME THAT). The final taylor speaking is the mtv VMA 2009 Taylor, the one that got interrupted by Kanye on stage saying "I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative" and being actually interrupted by other taylors yelling at her. the quote "I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one I have never asked to be a part of since 2009" is actually from a statement Taylor did on 2016 when the drama started.

•the dead zombie Taylor rises from a grave that says “here lies Taylor Swift’s reputation” and it’s her in the out of the Woods dress to symbolise her in the 1989 era being dead (the old Taylor is dead)
• When she’s in the bathtub there is a $1 bill hidden in there which is to symbolise the court case she won against a DJ that assaulted her. He tried to sue her for millions of $ and she counter sued for $1 and won.
•the stream co bank robbery is meant to symbolise her standing up for artists against streaming companies and making sure they are paid fairly (she pulled all her music from Spotify before this because they weren’t paying artists what they deserved)

In Look What You Made Me Do (LWYMMD) If you wonder why on earth would she cut off the wing of the plane... Here is the theory...
Back when the s*it happen (2016) she used to release albums every 2 years on even years, therefore in 2016 she was meant to release her "TS6" (you can se this letters/number on the tail of the plane) but because of the s*it she halted the release until 2017 (after a forced hiatus) now the fan theoey is... She had everything ready for the release of the album (maybe sounds and imagery and style maybe even songs 🤷🏻♀️ no real way to know) but instead took the extra year and came out with reputation effectively "rebranding" "TS6" "Reputation" (which you can see her spray paint the word reputation on the plane) given that she had changed her image at the time (she bleached her hair) everyone assumed that THAT was done to unvail the new ERA that never was since she grew her hair out and went back to her regular hair color for reputation. So it is wildly believed amongst the fans that we have a "lost album" and that is WHY she is cutting the wing off completely GROUNDING the original TS6 and rebranding the DAMAGED plane. (her damaged reputation) and I PERSONALLY believe that the symbolism is she thought that THIS album (rep) because of the damaged done might not fly at all (failure) (which fans showed her that EVEN damaged she was able to SOAR through the skys again)
Worth to note that some fans also believe that the saounds musically used in Rep were what origianlly was meant for TS6 she just re adjuted everything to the QUEEN OF SNAKES and REPUTATION narrative. So that would mean re-write an entire album (songs) which... We are talking about Taylor "I had this idea and stumbled to my piano in the middle of the night and finished the whole song" Swift so it is entirely possible

The image of taylor moving around in the bowler hat and cane is an outfit from the red tour. So in the case of the music video each taylor is referencing a past era in her life. the reason you saw that as the canvas on spotify for lover is because she changed all the music owned by her (lover-present) to that image to promote Red (taylor's version) before it was announced/released
no no.. wildest dreams mv was about a secret affair between two costars while they were filming a movie. they both know the relationship isnt going nowhere because he's married. then reality hits when they got back to america because his wife is right there.
But I think she holds out hope that he would leave the wife... Hence the look she gives at the premiere when realizing that SHE was the 2nd and never would be the 1st (though in all honesty I thougjt she didnt know he was merried and the look of surpriae is because she was finding out he was merried)

The top hat outfit from the LWYMMD music video is from the Red tour! It's the one she performed We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together in. The canvas from spotify was for Red (TV) era, but the outfit is significantly different from the original Red Tour one, so our guess is that she was filming a Red Tour movie recently, since the original never got one.

There's a theory that the plane in LWYMMD signifies the album that was supposed to come out after 1989 but because of all of the stuff that happened during that time it wasn't released and Rep got released instead and that's why she's taking the wing off cause it couldn't take flight. Also in the OOTW mv she's wearing a necklace that Harry Styles had when they were dating and she also has a HS on her wrist.
I think she said she had no clue how the next album was going to sound like, so that theory couldn't be it. I think it was supposed to represent *her*, not just an era.

At the start of the LWYMMD video the grave she's in front of reads "Here lies Taylor Swift's Reputation". When everything happened with Kanye and Kim (who she's supposed to be a characture of when she says "I'm going to edit this later") there was a mural put up (I want to say in Australia) of her in the pink dress that read like a memorial for her reputation. This video was the first Rep era video so she's rising from the dead like she says in the song like she does it all the time. Also the tilted stage line where she corrects the grave is a shot at Kanye who had a tilted stage on the tour of the album with Famous on it.

1. The Nils Sjoberg tombstone in the opening scene. As many will remember, Nils Sjoberg was the pseudonym that Swift used for a songwriting credit on her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris’ 2016 summer hit, “This Is What You Came For.” When it was revealed that Swift was, in fact, the creative mind behind the single, some short-lived drama ensued, with Harris slamming his ex and bringing up her ongoing beef with Katy Perry.
2. The “Out of the Woods” dress. When the music video opens, Swift bursts through the ground of a graveyard as a fully fledged zombie - wearing the iconic blue dress from her “Out of the Woods” music video. It’s notable that the video for her fairytale-inspired single was the last from her 1989 era, possibly indicating from the get-go that that era is done for good now. (Zombie Taylor is also a nice tribute to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video.)
3. The 2014 Met Gala dress. Similarly, the Swift lying prone in the grave is wearing the very Oscar de la Renta gown that the singer wore to the Met Gala in 2014. At the time, the then-24-year-old pop singer called the opportunity to wear the designer’s gown “a daydream realized.”
4. The single dollar bill in a bathtub full of diamonds. Swift’s decision to bathe in jewels and not money - but to feature a single dollar bill just beyond her right shoulder - was a very calculated one. Fans speculate that the single bill represents the $1 she was awarded after she won her sexual assault case against former radio DJ David Mueller.
5. The “Et Tu Brute” etchings on her golden throne. The superstar looks regal sitting atop a gold throne covered in snakes, but there’s one subtle detail that adds a layer to Swift’s haughty posture. On the arm of the throne, as well as on the oversized columns on either side of her seat, is the phrase “Et tu Brute,” a quote from William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. The famous line was uttered by Caesar, who was literally stabbed in the back by his former friends.
6. A snake serves Swift tea. One lucky reptile slithered straight up to Swift’s seat and poured the singer some piping hot tea at one point during her snake-charmer scene, a clear nod to the idea of Swift “serving tea” with the symbol-laden music video.
7. Swift transforms into a Katy Perry lookalike. If elements of the scene where Swift crashes a gold sports car into a pole look familiar, it’s because they are. Swift’s hair in the scene looks remarkably similar to nemesis Perry’s ‘do, and the sports car itself is undeniably reminiscent to the car in Perry’s 2009 video for “Waking Up in Vegas.” Relatedly, following the slow-motion crash, the camera zooms in on a Grammy Award the singer is holding up; Swift has 10 Grammys while Perry has been nominated for several but has yet to win one.
8. Swift and crew rob Stream Co. The singer dons a hoodie (that reads, in bedazzled letters, “Blind for love”) and swings a baseball bat to break and enter into a bank vault that boasts the name “Stream Co.” - a clear nod to her previous battle with streaming services. Her full discography was made available to Spotify, Tidal, and other services earlier this year.
9. Swift heads up a class of models at Squad U. The singer has gotten plenty of flack over the years for what some have dubbed her highly manufactured, model-perfect pack of close gal pals, and this scene was a direct hit back at those perceptions. She also writhes next to a pile of unmoving figures at one point during the scene, perhaps giving a nod to the idea that she surrounds herself with “fake” friends.
10. Those “I Heart TS” shirts. There was no missing the spectacle that was Swift’s whirlwind relationship with Tom Hiddleston, and in one particularly damning scene, the singer dances with a group of men (including close friend and RUclips star Todrick Hall) all donning “I Heart TS” crop tops, a nod to the now-infamous tank top that Hiddleston donned at one of Swift’s July Fourth parties. Also of note: There are eight men dancing behind her in this scene - a possible reference to Swift’s eight famous exes? (Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston.) One more note about this particular sequence in the video, set in a mansion: While an earlier preview of this scene had many fans comparing it to Beyonce’s “Formation,” which director Kahn downplayed, in full context, it was more reminiscent of Lady Gaga’s baroque “Paparazzi” clip.
11. Swift stands atop a mountain of former selves. The singer looks triumphant as she strikes a pose on top of a large pile of her former iconic personas, including a ballet dancer (“Shake It Off”), a circus marshall (from her Red tour) and even a nerdy high schooler (“You Belong With Me”). At one point, the latter even gets kicked in the head by what looks to be the Vetements boots she wore on the cover of Vogue in May 2016.
12. Her besties make a “cameo” in the video. Swift’s “Junior Jewels” T-shirt from her geeky “You Belong With Me” music video now displays the names of her closest pals: Gigi [Hadid], Martha [Hunt], Abigail [Anderson], Blake [Lively], Ryan [Reynolds], Claire [Kislinger], Ed [Sheeran], Selena [Gomez], Lena [Dunham], Este [Haim], Danielle [Haim], Alana [Haim] and Todrick [Hall], among others. Glaringly absent from that list: Squad mainstays Karlie Kloss, Lorde and Ruby Rose.
13. She quotes some of her most headline-making moments. The multiple Swift clones that stand on the airplane tarmac all begin to squabble with each other during the last 40 seconds of the music video, with several of the Swift personas reciting some now-familiar lines, like “I’d very much like to be excluded from this narrative,” referencing a line from her scathing response to her feud with West and wife Kim Kardashian over his hit “Famous.”

There's a popular theory (very likely) about an album called Karma that's supposed to be out after 1989, but the phone call incident happened, she disappeared from the media and the timing was just bad that it simply got cancelled and replaced with Reputation. Here are what we know about Karma.
1) It has to do with Taylor's bleachella look in 2016. Probably pop punk, goth, emo theme? Taylor always changes her style according to her album aesthetic, but that bleachella look was so random with no explanation at all. She has done this during the transition between Red and 1989; she cut her hair short near the end of Red tour.
2) In LWYMMD music video, we recognized every Taylor from their own era. But there's one Taylor whom nobody recognized; the one on the plane who cuts off its wing. She seems to be preparing the flight to depart before cutting the wing, as in the album never get to be released, and then she spray painted "reputation" on the airplane, literally re-labelling the album. Also in the last shot, she didn't join the other Taylors because she's never released.
3) "The world moves on, another day another drama, drama. But not for me, not for me, all I think about is karma!" Double entendre?
4) In The Man music video, she 'peed' "Karma" on the wall that has the names of all her other albums.

so the one that you referring to when you said that the red era taylor with a cane on spotify was actually a canvas of her teasing the red taylor’s version release. spotify canvas or the videos when you play a song can be changed periodically depending on what the artists wants. she used that feature to promote her releases so you happened to watch the lwymmd music video while also her teasing or at the release of red tv. and no she wasn’t teasing lover atm because reputation was an album made unexpectedly or not planned and there was no album besides it that was planned to be recorded according to her during that time period.
