BUT... there is one artist in particular that I am willing to come out of retirement for and that's the one and only Taylor Swift. She is back once more with another re-recording, this time the infamous 1989... so I couldn't pass this one up. Enjoy!! xoxo

The vault is giving if 1989 and midnights have a child, I just love them so much

That's the link, which leads me to believe that Midnights was inspired by those vault tracks.
I think this vault and speak now's sound so much like midnights because it has the influence of taylor's music right now, this makes me wonder how different it would've been produced by Taylor at the time

Not this being the most different re-release in regards of production and sound and Brad saying it sounds the same hahaha loved it.

I think people are just mad that she didn’t release a version with Harry Styles on it. I mean, that would have been amazing, but I’m not going to put it down now. It’s still my favorite song on 1989.
I don’t have other Swiftie friends so it is SO cathartic watching others react, I was so excited when I saw you post this!
Top three from 1989: Clean, Out of the Woods, Blank Space. But omg such a hard choice because this is a no skip album for me.
Top three vault tracks: Say Don’t Go, Is It Over Now?, and Slut!. I have a feeling my top two and three will alternate. Now That We Don’t Talk was in my top three but man every time I hear Slut! I love it even more. This is a solid vault. Solid album. 👌

I love the theory that "Is It Over Now" is about Mr. Harry Styles haha. Especially because of the parallels between that and "Out Of The Woods" lyrically, with the references to the snowmobile accident they were in. "When you lost control. Red blood, white snow" and "Remember when you hit the breaks too soon. Twenty stitches in a hospital room" and the "Was it over when she laid down on your couch" and "We were lying on your couch".
Its not exactly a theory girl, he’s the only person it could be about considering the whole album is about harry

Imogen’s vocals in Clean (Taylor’s Version) are so much more present and I love it. And the “oh I remember!” At the end of the bridge in Out of the Woods (Taylor’s Version) is SO CRISP.

1989 TV is just perfection! Also Wonderland is one of my favourite tracks I still can't believe how criminally underrated it is.

I love you immediately said it sounds bigger because that was my exact reaction. The low parts are lower and the high parts are higher, the tracks are genuinely more "spacious" in terms of sound frequency. It also means you can hear every synth, every harmony, every drum... which has lead to a lot of "why does it sound like that?" it always sounded like that, you just couldn't hear it properly in the original.
Fr like I see people hating on the clicking in Shake It Off TV, but if you listen to the original, it’s there. It’s always been there.

When I taught dance to the little children I used the original 1989 album for warms up and then let them choose a song they wanted to freestyle to at at end of class. They loved it! And You Are In Love was my wedding first dance song! ❤ 1989 will always be a special album to me with lots of good memories and I love all the vault tracks

It’s a great recreation. Red is by far my favorite album ever because it’s so therapeutic and fall aesthetic and it’s my favorite season to listen to it haha. I just got back into Taylor but I listened to her music every now and then so I’m happy to get back into her.

Loved this, I love how the vault is really a condensed version of their relationship. Also Suburban Legends is absolutely the grower of the vault, I wasn't sure the first time but it grooves and now I love it. I knew the second we got to Is It Over Now you'd be screaming at it, it's a banger but also so shady at the same time.
