Neil Gaiman saw this and sent him some of his books, they met up over lunch, and they've been friends ever since. So, you know. No matter how much one may hate the twilight series, something good DID come out of it.

I am halfway through Breaking Dawn now. I read the twilight series when it first came out, I was about 16? I appreciate it so much more as an adult. I remember rushing through it and hating the Jacob parts. I truly appreciate it now and understand it more. I absolutely adore the movies and especially the reactions. We all love the movies and love to cringe and poke fun at it. The nostalgia is sort of healing. A simpler time I guess. I will have to pick up Midnight sun after I’m finished, and any others. lol

I think new moon is a MAJOR upgrade from the first one. I feel like the first was more campy and new moon is actually an emotional movie trying to actually tell a story with stakes and emotions…I also feel like Kristen Stewart’s acting has improved in this movie as well.

Yes! New Moon is honestly my fave in the series, to me they just got the tone absolutely nailed with this one: story, atmosphere, soundtrack, angsty teen melodrama, cinematography was all top notch imo✨
Honestly the wolves carry the movie! I love them so much, they’re really cool. The concept, the different looks they each have, diff relationships between the characters, and how cool they all transform looks great! Also we haven’t met Seth yet, but he’s my favorite. He’s so sweet.
Hey there sweetheart. I hope all is going well with you. I remember being in high school and having some of my classmates read/discuss the novels. I didn’t get into them until much later, as the movies were coming out. I loved New Moon because, to me, it described what it feels like to be broken hearted very accurately. I haven’t had the best luck in love and it’s a feeling I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. I don’t feel that Bella was to blame for Jacob’s feelings being hurt. She was very clear from the beginning that she still loved Edward and wasn’t over him or ready to be in a relationship with Jacob. She needed his friendship especially after all she went through. Jacob repeatedly ignored her feelings/wishes due to his own desires. As such, I feel that Jacob broke his own heart. The heart wants what it wants, this I know too well. Just because we care for someone romantically doesn’t mean the other party will feel the same. It isn’t anyone’s fault. It’s the luck of the draw. In my very humble opinion. I hope you continue the rest of the series. I’ve seen them all in theaters and own the Twilight Forever box set 😂 I’ll be sat when your reactions are out. Take care handsome xoxo
