Hot take, monopolies are one of those few things that are pretty much always bad. It doesn't matter if it's a corporate monopoly in a laissez-faire capitalist society or a nationalized industry in a socialist/communist society. I Wish there was something in between these two extremes where monopolies didn't exist.

As a fiction writer in the current year, have you solved the dilemma of properly representing women AS women. That is to say, since we live in an age that deifies women, how have you navigated this cultural landscape in your work.
Also, do you have anything published I can purchase? There's very few contemporary work of quality on offer today.
Women are deified in popular media because they are a more profitable demographic. That's the banal truth. I would rather focus on just trying to represent men and women accurately, warts and all, and strive to make it both entertaining and thought-provoking enough to sell.
