Always so interesting. Look forward for your videos.
I'm directly descended from George Yeardley - Temprance Flowerdew, and a few other families that came over. I love this so much. ❤
We members of the Curles Neck crew are proud of you and thankful for your hard work and dedication,
I agree, "fascinating and exciting". but David, I sincerely wish you were a faster speaker. My brain has a tendency to wander with slower speakers. I did subscribe because I need some American archeology to offset all the Time Team episodes I tend to watch over and over again.
The work you and your team continue to do is absolutely fascinating! On my first trip to Jamestown about 1970, there was a sign telling visitors that the remains of old Jamestown had been lost forever beneath the footbridge leading from the Visitors Center. Everyone who saw the sign would let out a deep sigh. Now you and your team are giving it all back to us with every video, and with every incision from the dirt surgeon's scalpel. Thank you so, so much.
lost forever? nope
Very interesting discussion about privacy. What about the two skeletons displayed in the Archaeorarium? Are they original or casts?
Very educational for me. I appreciate the team's dedication and hard work. Look forward to the results. Ken from Indiana.
I have a relative that may be buried there, thanks for your diligence
Wow! First off, thanks for such a long video explaining everything so clearly. Second, you answered all my questions so I won’t ask any. Third, I can’t wait for the lab results! I’ll be waiting eagerly! Thank you for your hard work! I just wish I was related to one of the original settlers! Oh well… Mary
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I live for these educational videos of our history. I am hopeful that one day I can visit in person! Excellent work!
Thank you so much for being so careful and respectful to the burials.
I applaud your efforts in keeping the site secured and veiled from the public view.
Well done.
I really enjoy these segments and am very interested in this history of this God-given country.
Thank you!!
This is so amazing, when they thought for a long time there was nothing left of the fort. Now a chance to find out who is related to people still living in the area (if anybody, so many died). Can't wait to see the results.
Kudos to you and your Team Mr. Givens (from a former field school student)
Thank you and your team for your work and also keeping us informed.
Do you ever do a DNA haplo group test, to maybe get some type of idea of the European base population migration group to the Jamestown fort?
thank you very much - good job!
We love all of your videos!!! Keep going.
👍
The island has been sinking for some time. How does that effect things
Any signs of canabalism on the bones?
