I was there visiting about 5 years ago when you were excavating the church floor and I have been watching your videos ever since. I think it would be really educational if you would do a video (or video series) on the entire process from beginning a new dig all the way to the end when you refill it just so the entire process can be seen from start to finish.

You guys are doing a great job, and I’m thankful that the information you are uncovering will impact many for years to come! Keep up the hard work! I have at least 2 family members that started their life in America near there and it means so much to me personally to know others do care about preserving history!

Does anyone know where the grave of Capt.Richard Stephens is located. I was told he is buried in the church cemetery. He is my 7th great grandfather. Thank you.. .

Do you ever accept volunteers? Also- I had a question about reconstruction of the fort walls. When you determined the location of the post holes, did you create the fort wall recreation just a few feet within that line so as not to disturb the original post holes? Or did you put the new logs precisely within the exact same original holes?

Thank you for another excellent episode. It's nice of you to show the person responsible for your high quality productions. You are lucky to have someone like Chuck.
I would like to share my theory about the pistol. Maybe it was stolen from its (rich) owner (in a hurry), together with other goods and personal items. Maybe (as word got out and things heated up) the thief decided to get rid of it, when he recognized that this item could easily connect him to the crime. Maybe the (important) owner got hurt, or worse during the process, which made possible consequences even bigger.
The thief could have tried to load it first, but jammed the barrel instead, which made the decision to get rid of it easier. :)
I think we need a time machine, to solve this mystery!

What are the chances that there was a Roman fort/guidepost there?

Thank you for the q&a video.
This was very interesting and the questions that others had were very good.
How do you come up with a date of when food was either grown or harvested?
For instance, you come across fish bones, corn cobs, certain seeds. These things have been discarded by the consumer and then excavated.
    This has always intrigued me.
And thank you for your acknowledgement of my comments and questions.
These are so wonderful to watch.
Keep up the great work that you do.
