Yes, modern helmets can deal with pistols and splinters. Protection level IIIa is far inferior to protection level III. Your head does not want to carry ballistic plates. Your neck is not built for that shit.
The impact from a single one of those slugs on that man's helmet would have gave him very serious brain trauma. The helmet may have stopped the slug, but not the energy.
i make at least 200k per scav run and its super easy since most people extract before the player scavs even spawn. the only annoying thing is clueless fucks who shoot other scavs as a scav
With the new Anti-Rat patch, you might as well scav run. If you die as a scav, you lose it all. if you die in a normal run, the loot in your gamma is unsellable. Might as well be lost.
If you mean the consequences, you lose found in raid status on any loot you pick up so you can't sell it on the flea market so you can't make nearly as much money. Or say its a quest item you needed and it had to be FIR for the quest it's basically useless if you get a run through. Like mentioned above 1 kill is usually enough, not always though, I've gotten like 500 something before for 1 kill. You can also just stay in the raid 10 minutes or loot a bunch of stuff to not get a run through.

Walking, running, shooting, aiming, reloading, packing mags, eating, drinking, looting, searching containers, carrying gear and loot, throwing grenades, hitting with melee, jumping, changing stances, getting shot, healing, doing surgery etc. Every action gives XP to the according skill and is counted towards total raid XP. (That gets multiplied by 1.5x if you extract with a 300xp bonus)

I feel really bad about it because it was expensive, I originally told him about the game and he wanted me to try it out while he was building his computer, but I ultimately feel bad about because I played a couple hours of the game and have never touched it ever again because I fucking hate playing it. What does "run through" mean when u escape in tarkov?
