Hey folks! Disregard the route 2 path! Unfortunately I believe me getting through that fog wall from the back side may have simply been a bug. Apologies but you'll have to spend that Stonesword Key after all!
Had the same problem: just go back to the grace point & run up stairs ignore everybody there, circle around & you’ll see a balcony of those Kevin Durant ass soldiers, run directly to the edge and jump on the ledge to the adjacent building there will be a wooden ledge for you to jump down on: jump down before they hit you and then jumping on the roof is as easy as pie
A few people have said this, so I've just booted up the game to check again. In case it had been patched or whatever. Made the jump first time, in full bull goat at just under my max equip load. You must be sprinting, and still holding sprint, in the same second that you jump. If you're not you won't make it.
Yeah I honestly think me getting through that route on my second character was a bug. My housemate took the exact same route and got through too though. I'm going to change the pinned comment to accurately reflect the available route though.
I'm currently running Godslayer's Greatsword and it absolutely beasts. From the incantation line up I run Black Flame's Protection and the standard Black Flame. Imo those are the stronger pieces from the Godslayer whole.
The ledge for the first jump? As long as you're not at heavy equip load you should be good. It requires a running start however. There is another route around, but without being on the game I couldn't tell you what it is. My brain is awful at recalling directions from memory.
@@ariellemercado5644 Ok so I was having the same problem, but it was because when I sprinted, I let go of the sprint button right before jumping. You have press the jump button while keeping the forward button and the sprint button BOTH pressed. Kinda awkward with a PS4 controller but oh well

Route 2 might not lead to that room but there is the Nomadic Cookbook (10) after the wooden bridge on the platform

I stg that jump is impossible. I’ve tried it 25 times and at no point have I came near to making it.

Hah! Well! I appreciate the speedy reply! I have a light load but can’t seem to get enough speed/air to make that jump to the roof top. Oh well!!
Press jump with the edge of your thumb while keeping sprint pressed
