@@waltuh-gx4ig My understanding is that the tracking radar more or less narrows down the space where a stealth plane is. However, that is as far as it gets. They could launch a good number of missiles and maybe get lucky

US has been flying their F-22, B-2 and F-35 over Syria and no radar system could even detect them not even the S-300. They even tested the S-400 in India and Turkey, none of them can detect the F-22, B-2 and F-35's. USA also received the S-300's from Belarus and Russia for evaluation, they tested them against their stealth fighters and these Anti-air systems stood no chance.

Just because you can detect it does not mean you can lock on it to destroy it. Both the F22 and F35 can both be detected easily by advanced systems but the problem is that even though they can be detected they can't be locked so a missile can be fired at it effectively.

It is not propaganda. Everything the video had in it was true minus showing the f35 while talking about f22. Simple error on the part of content creator. What does skew the truth however is all the comments about the video. For instance, people talking about whether or not the s-500 missile would shoot it down. Can the s-500 shoot down an f22? Of course it can given the right situation. That doesn't mean it will all the time. The same is true for the f22. It can defeat the s-500 system but that is not without the possibility of being shot down. No machine is invincible. F22 will not be an easy target and s500 will not be easy to fool.

Да и вряд ли такая сложная система была разработана исключительно для перехвата баллистических ракет и спутников. Это не целесообразно, тем более что вероятность применения С-500 против баллистических ракет и спутников практически равна нулю. Только в случае тотальной войны с США.

Also, for those who claim that various Russian S series radars tracked or locked onto F22 or F35 aircraft, one might want to discover first if the F22 or F35 was deploying a Lunenberg reflector or had its bomb bay doors open or landing gears down. Those who have these fighters are not keen to reveal their true capabilities to potential adversaries. So far, Israeli F35s have evaded Syrian S400 systems without suffering any losses.

Problem is, assuming that the F22 Has all the qualities the manufacturer say it has.,if deployed against a country fully equipped with a capable air defense system., say Russia.,it will confront an integrated air defense systems.,it not be F22 against the S500’s., but several different systems. It may defeat one or two but not all of them.

When you talk about radar it’s kind of deceiving.. the S400/500 can possibly detect a F22/23 but can they get a lock on its really doesn’t look like it. There are several types of band high/low.. you need to have a high frequency to lock your missiles on a target..they can get a low but as far as I have been told you can’t get a high grade lock on the F22/23 as of now..
Iran didn't detect the stripped down version of Isreal f35 so not sure how you believe it would ever come close to the us version much less the f-22

S-500 is nothing because it doesn't even exist. How many of these are operational and where is the evidence that they are? They tried to set one up in Moscow in 2021 but it diedn't meet the specifications required for operation. Saying you have a weapon and having an actual operational wepaon are two different things.

I read one estimate that F-22, F-35 can be detected at 15-20 miles away.
J-20 and especially SU-57 much farther out. SU-57 is not really a stealth fighter jet.
HARM missiles range up to 300km. F-22 radar detection range 200-240km.
In comparison the new B-21 bomber is probably detectable 1-3 miles out.
S400 detect 67km f35.

F-22 has an RCS of 0.0001 meters squared. At 50 -75 miles it is very faint, very small. By that time the enemy is destroyed. I would hate to be the enemy fighter Jet, because they won't even see the warning light of inbound missile until it's within 10 miles, by that time if you're not 40,000 feet where advanced maneuvers can be done, they may as well eject. Especially if they are low to start with. Lmaoo.

It is better to ask: Has the F-22 proven to be stealth before in a real test and a real war? The answer is definitely no. The F-22 is a media bubble... it was easily detected by Chinese radars from a distance of 450 km in Asia... and The Sukhoi 35 detected it and easily closed in on it in Syria. Venezuelan radars detected it with ease... Can you tell me when the Raptor proved that it is stealth?! ...on paper only

It gets a lot more complicated than just having a situation where we push a button on a stop watch and start a test with the two systems knowing to try to out maneuver each other. The F-22 is going to have one big advantage.
Imagine an F-22 and a few drones equipped with high level AI to assist it. The enemy will easily knock out the drones but the radar systems will have no knowledge to look for an F-22 and more problems detecting the F-22 due to the drones creating a short time period camouflage for it based on precise positioning. By the time the enemy does destroy the camouflage drones, and increase its ability to detect the F-22, it is too late. The F-22 has just released its load and is heading home at full speed.

S500 can simultaneously track and destroy multiple targets at once, hence there's no chance for f22 against mighty s500.

There are no F-22's available (and especially no stealth plus multiple drones in formation) for Russia to use as a test so you provided nothing to make an argument.

can S-500 detect F-22 Raptor? No. Because S-500 is a missile, not the Search and Track Radar. S-500 will never work if there is no radar system around controlling it. Detecting lies on how good or strong the radar system is. And tracking for a firing solution is different from detecting.
