- Gameplay for the new "Super Worlds" mode in Super Mario Maker 2. This mode is quite fun and makes it feel more like a Mario Bros. game. Admitably I got very well designed levels in this super world. They feel like they came straight out of a Nintendo game.

People have uploaded their own Super World... meanwhile I'm still making 1-3, and making 8 worlds with 40 levels. Taking my time over the level design to make sure it's as fun as I can make it.
I wish i had a Nintendo Switch and MM2, i would surely play your Super World :)

I like this update cause now we can finally see traditionnal levels in popular section ( different from the stress relief courses uhh....)
I just finished my 8th world and making another super world. The secret is to start working on it before the update comes out.
@@merlijnnelis Aha. Mine is a story themed Super World with a running gimmick for each world, and the final world is a final gauntlet of the gimmicks you learnt. You can now become a Shigeru Miyamoto by creating levels and worlds.
The fact that they gave us not just a really complete game from the start but also a lot of new items, enemies and even a mode so big like this for free, is just... incredible
I wish this type of thing was more the norm in SMM; "normal" levels similar to those you would see in an official SMB game. The large majority of the time it's shuffling through terrible levels that are clearly made by kids, speedrun levels, auto-levels, puzzle levels, or weird gimmick/storytelling levels that are constantly throwing power-ups at you so the theme of the level isn't broken. Oh, and don't forget the troll levels.
These levels were great and actually had a lot of neat design decisions.
I'll make a regular super world too! I'll call it Mario Unleashed, cause it's supposed to be a mario-like parody of Sonic Unleashed. As half of the levels will be day, while the other half is night.

It is sad that you only can make 5 levels in one world
If you want an 8 level world than make 2 worlds of the same theme with 4 levels each
The fact Nintendo even made a world maker is amazing, so I’m fine with 5 levels per world.
You can make 40 levels total for 8 worlds, but if you make 8 worlds in the same style then that's like a 40 course gigantic world

40 levels... With all world tematics, 1 boss each world and a Big final boss.. secret paths, bonus levels, all with a touch of dificult like "Mario Lost levels games"... is not finish yet but soon
I’m trying to do the same. Ground -> Sky -> Snow -> Underground -> Forest -> Desert -> Volcano -> Space. Each more difficult than the last.

I am making that too but not every World is 5 stages, and all of the levels are short and inspired by official levels. I also have on the World map Some tricks to make in a dessert World water tiles!

@Flop Duarte Don't care. They can get real jobs. If me or my friends had to watch the ads, we wouldn't have watched youtube at all. If they made advertising fun and interesting and not annoying and boring then you might want to see. But they often ruin the fun with the video and interrupt.

I think he’s saying people who made giant worlds like these in such a small time probably just used levels they had already created before the update, so the new stuff wasn’t used.

I'm still working since the update launch on a Zelda World, creating 3-5 hours per day ( quarantine time haha) and still dont got half of the worlds done, but work will give its reward!

Just to be sure... PLEASE, gove time for your world. I hate to see super worlds, that are rushed by just farting on levels in hopes you are one of the firsts who gets their world displayed

This update is amazing. Personally I prefer fan made level editors like Super Mario Bros X, but Mario Maker is still pretty damn good. If I have time, I might make my own Super World.

This is incredible except there should be more bosses
Huge issue though, a lot of these levels don’t match the level icons and a lot of levels are in different styles. If I were you, I’d keep the levels consistent.
The trouble with keeping it to the same style is when trying to make 3D World levels, because bosses are only Boom Boom and Pom Pom... for me personally, Castle Levels/airship levels and Ghost houses are the only times I would use a different style, to give people a break from the same style, but also to allow me to be more creative. This is specially good for me because the main draw of my Super World that I'm making is in 3D World due to the elements it has, but due to the lack of bosses and stuff, that's the exceptions I've made for myself.
Froggy id use Mario u for bosses since it has the closest look to 3D world.

I'm making my own mario game with mario world graphics. I hope you'ill like it when i'ill finish to develope. I'm paying attenction mostly for an accurate and smart level design and fun bosses. There will be secondary paths and a lot of secrets. If you're interested i will update you :))
