    I’ve been waiting, and it’s finally here! Yes, please keep updating us with your progress. I love how informative your video are. Love it! Your skin looks amazing wearing only tinted sunscreen. That’s what I yearn for.

    I have been waiting for this video, thanks for updating us. You look gorgeous! And, I think your results are significant. Please keep us updated on your progress using the non-HQ formula.

    Thank you for the update. I am trying non hydroquinone spot cream. So far I think I am seeing some lightening of my melasma. I gauge my journey by ease to conceal. Also trying to avoid the NM sun. Just want to mention that artificial light vs. sunlight makes my melasma appear darker or lighter so that can be tricky for social events. 😂

      Thanks! Consider consulting with a Musely dermatology provider to see if the Spot Cream may be a good choice for your melasma too.

    Did you ever at any point get darker? I am also using the spot cream with 12% hydroquinone, no retinol and after just 5 days notice I am definitely darker. Hoping I get lighter soon.

      In my experience and knowledge of managing melasma, no product should make the melasma appear worse before it improves the appearance. I would definitely consult with your (Musely) derm provider.

      @@shyneicemayeux5168 I've had very good results. It took about 2 1/2 - 3 months for me to really see a significant difference.
      I started out only using the product about every 3 days to let my skin get used to it.
      I'm going to be using just the night cream from this point on (tretinoin 0.05%).
      I hope you do well with the product. It has made a big difference for me.

    Have you tried Musely spot peel? Thoughts - I’ve ordered it and wondering since my melasma is similar to yours :)

    • @investinyourface
      @investinyourface  Год назад

      I have not tried the spot peel. Is yours the Boost or Burst formula? Let us know how it works for you. I think now, during the fall/winter is a good time of the year to do it. I am currently using the Spot Cream with 6% HQ and so far have not felt the need for the peel. But I would love to know your experience with it. Thanks!

      Hello Amy, hoping that you’re having a good day today. I am desperately need of help getting rid out of my melasma on my cheeks. I would like to ask a huge favor from you. Is there a way that I can give your address to musely and then you can mail out to me the prescription pack here in Canada? Thank you so much in advance for your help.

    hey..you are so gorgeous..I have a question why you switched off from 20%azelaic acid to hydroquinone..

    • @investinyourface
      @investinyourface  2 года назад +1

      I decided to give Musely Face Rx a try and the Spot Cream prescribed by my assigned derm was formulated with hydroquinone. It remains the gold standard for fading melasma. As recommended, I am currently using their hydroquinone free spot cream for two months and mine is formulated with Tranexamic acid 6%, Azelaic acid 10%, Kojic acid 6%, and Niacinamide 2.5%. So to answer your question, my decision to switch was not anything against 20% azelaic acid, but just to try different routines to manage this chronic stubborn skin condition. Thank you for your kind words and question.

      Sorry to hear that. How melasma responds to any treatment can vary from person to person. I hope you updated your prescribing dermatologist. Perhaps he/she would recommend another formulation that may work better for your melasma.
