    Wow!
    What an excellent video!
    I haven't done CAD for 7 or 8 years, then I realized that I missed it, I decided to get back into it!
    How lucky I am to have come across your video, you are an excellent teacher, then that is priceless (I believe that I have a special talent to make the difference between a normal teacher, then a very smart I think!)
    I don't have the funds for your paid courses at the moment, but I will do, and then redo, your free tutorials to get my skills back on track!
    Many thanks to you for offering this high quality content!

    Great video! I love your format. Question: at 36:20, when you say move to assembly mode, you are in the Features tab, the screen goes to your edited-in homemade grid and then when you revert back to the Solidworks screen, it's already in assembly tab. I cannot figure out how to get there!

    • @with-aryan
      @with-aryan  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you’re enjoying the format. To answer your question: when I say move to assembly mode, you need to go to File → New → and then choose Assembly. That should open the assembly tab for you. The grid you're seeing is just an edited transition I added for style, but don't worry-you're not missing any steps in between! Let me know if you need more details!

    I have a question or a problem, When I call to different assemblies In one and if that assemblies have some parts with similar names then solidworks shows error. Actually When I am designing a assembly line, I have to assemble all the machines in single assembly. And most of the time there are some parts with same name and different shape/size are there. So Solidworks shows error. What can we do on this problem?

    • @FullyDefined-Design
      @FullyDefined-Design 11 месяцев назад +1

      if you have two different parts with the same name, you cannot have them open in solidworks at the same time (or open in two different assemblies at the same time). re-name one of the parts and you will be fine

      Hey, I am an engineer for the company that makes SolidWorks. Based on where you live, you need to contact a company that would sell SolidWorks to you as well as their services. For a SolidWorks license used for professional purposes (ie no education watermark), the general rule of thumb I've seen in the US would be 6000 US dollars for standard SolidWorks, 8000 for more great features like toolbox and PDM, and 11000 for the most advanced features including basic simulation capabilities. Once you purchase the software from an appropriate reseller in your area, they can help you install.
      51:15 EDIT: upon parsing though the video, it appears he provides a service that will help you get an education license which is significantly cheaper.

    In the beginning you said to ignore the origin, then proceeded to design your part around the origin in order to fully define it. The origin point is integral to locking down and defining the sketch/part. You never mentioned it again after saying to ignore it. That was very misleading, confusing and irksome. Since this was, according to the title, supposed to be a look into Solidworks 2024 features, which it barely touched on, I hope your actual course videos are much more clear and correct.

      Whirlpool, tata technologies, onwards, cyient, Daimler, volvo, scania, tata motors, hindujatech, Lg, continental, Cummins, paccar, HCL, Infosys, Cisco, Capgemini, Phillips,l etc are using creo/catia/ ug and not solid works. Solidworks is used by small scale companies where you will not get good salary. So learn creo/catia/ug and you will get job easily

When I'm dealing with sprial extruded cuts on a connector that have 150 cuts one way then 150 counterclockwise it bogs the system down. I'm pretty experienced with cad so here is the question... what the heck is the best computer to use because I would run circles around this guy lmao

      A work around is to create a portion of your part (smaller) as a body then pattern it as bodies and combine them at the end if there is a repeating pattern

    You go way to fast for anyone to keep up. Yes I know your like a pro bt this is for beginners. Very informative I'm sure if I could keep up. Disappointing

    Srry. Its not good instruction. Why, eg, jumps the right circle down timestamp around 14.33 and not the left up? You forgot to tell that. As many other 'small' details.....

    • @with-aryan
      @with-aryan  9 месяцев назад +1

      The left circle at that timestamp is fully defined because it's fixed on the origin and therefore, it won't move i.e. jump up. The black color on the sketch defines the state in which a sketch is, and Black is for "fully defined". That's why, the "under defined" sketch i.e Blue one jumps down.

    Best Aryan. I can see bright future for You. I just wonder if type of speech improvement would be greatly beneficial to You. Like this guy did .: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demosthenes
