Hello, thanks for the guide.
Anyway, my app does not work as expected: it should connect via ajax to a remote DB to retrieve some information and then display it as a list, but it does only execute the error case function (an alert), then the app reloads.
This is strange because my app works just fine on Chrome on my laptop. Why does the ajax call go into error on my device and not on the laptop?

You can look into using Android Studio. You can add in a WebView that will link to your HTML file. There are many tutorials available on RUclips that explain how you can do this in a step by step manner. Just search for Converting HTML to Android App using Android Studio. Hope this helps!

Yes you can absolutely use Bootstrap and jQuery!
Changing the icon requires changes to be made in the config.xml file. You can find more information here in Cordova's official documentation: cordova.apache.org/docs/en/10.x/config_ref/images.html
