I want to thank you for these tutorials. Your patience and precision in your videos made it real easy for me to be patient and precise. The first time I shaved my head with a safety razor I cut myself so badly it took a week for my head to heal. I rushed and tried to use the same technique I used with those 5 blade cartridges! It didn't work! Tonight I started with a n aggressive razor with about a weeks worth of hair on my head, slicked it down with a really good lather, did a few passes with it and then transitioned to the much more mile prism from Phoenix shaving for a few final passes. A couple nicks but nothing severe. I should be good by morning. The major difference for me this time was building a really good lather and being familiar with your videos. Thanks so much again! I'm going to try and maintain my head with shaves no longer than a couple days growth. Once I got it down low enough for the prism it was smooth sailing. Have a great week and thanks again for your tutelage!
Great shave. I almost exclusively use my 6C for my head shaves with Rockwell blades. I also finish up with Nivea aftershave balm, you can't beat it. Your increased confidence is very noticeable, and it comes across with great content on your videos. 👊💈🇨🇦
@@OhioShaves 3 pass. Plate 5 wtg. Plate 3 xtg and plate 2 atg. Plate 2 is good for the final pass as it is very unlikely that I am going to cut myself if I need to go over any 'velcro' spots.
I have been using double edge razors on my head for almost 20 years. Cartridge razors are a waste of money. Get much better shaves with my DE Fatboy, Slim, and Progress than I ever have over those multi blade plastic landfill filling disposable garbage. DE shaving has become enjoyable and I look forward to my every-other-day shaves (I get such close shaves I only have to do it that often). Can’t see why more people don’t get into DE shaving, it’s cheap, and you get better shaves. Only costs me $5/year in DE blades to shave my head and face. Clogged disposables, nicks, gummed up lubrication strips, expensive blades, toxic landfill waste, locked up razor blades at the store, etc….DE shaving makes so much more sense than any of that.
Pimple Hack: Pop them, then wet your Alum Block and rub it on them, they’ll be gone the next day. Rinse your Alum and put it away. I just discovered this last week, works better than anything I’ve ever tried.
Happy shaving sir! That Rockwell 6S is a really nice razor, I’ve got one too. I’m also a bald man, my desert island razor for my face & head is my Muhle Rocca pure matte stainless w/Astra Superior Stainless or Voskhod blades though. It has a smaller, more maneuverable head than the 6S for me, both are top notch razors though! I shave my ears (and around them) with my Muhle R106 with a Nacet blade, the 34C or Jagger DE89 works good for this too. For me, the shallower cap profile of the R106 or DE89 seem to get in tighter spaces a bit easier though.
@@OhioShaves They are, I have too many razors though, I could get away with 2 for the rest of my life. 😂 I also have a Simpson Trafalgar T1, nice little travel brush, but you’re right, it does take longer to work up a good lather. I’ve been having excellent results with Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements synthetic brushes. Any of the bigger ones, (I have the Peregrino and Star Wisp), whip up a lather in no time, no matter what brand of soap or cream. I also love that they’re affordable. They cost me about $26.00 including tax & shipping delivered to my door. They were a game-changer for me.
It's a derma roller. It helps promote healthier skin that was damaged. I use it for sunspots and other blemishes on my face and head. I haven't used it in a long time and thanks for reminding me.
Another great head shave with the Rockwell 6c

You’re certainly doing much better than I was on my third head shave.
Thanks. This razor rocks. It's making me better than I really am
What are you currently using?
Great shave!
I often cut off the end tabs of the blade so I won't cut my ears when head shaving, always works!
You know someone else suggested that as well. My scissors just haven’t made to the bathroom yet. Good call
I also use Nivea sensitive shave balm. It works very well for me.
I really like how silky smooth it leaves my skin. Highly recommended product.

What’s music called at the very beginning?
Not sure it is the music that RUclips provides.
What is that roller wheel called that you’re using for blemishes? Never seen that before
Dermaplaner
Do you just stick with the same plate for the whole shave?
Yes. It's the thickest hair on my head and the six plate is the only thing that gets it BBS. What are you using for your head shave?
@@OhioShaves I've been using several different razors. The Leaf, the Twig, Henson AL13, and the Razorock Blackhawk.
@@stanley1976 What DE blade?
@@OhioShaves Well, I like to change that up, as well. A few of my favorites are Astra SP's, Filoso, Feather, and more recently, Perma-sharps.

Shave your head with a Bald Buddy. No muss, no fuss, no bother. Safer, too. Listen to me now but believe me later.
I’ll have to look into that.
