- A different take this time. I have no idea of what I think of this now. Im not spending 29 hours on a train to shoot me carving forks and making chickens spin LOL. So no bushcraft. Just 5 days focusing on nature and hiking in the last true wilderness of Europe. Tell me what you think.
I had an awesome time. I hesitated bringing a Lavvu poncho but boy did I need it! Its the best piece of gear you can have as a ground cloth, quick shelter and bivy etc. The first days where crazy hot and the only reason you see me put up shelters is to be used as sunblock. This high above the arctic circle it never gets dark and the sun rise in the east at 3 o clock in the night. So you have to set the sunblock in the west for the evening, then switch it to the east after sunset at midnight when going to sleep, so the sun does'nt fry you in the night. The Lavvu was the perfect sunblock as my tarp still lets a lot of heat through. Without it I would have been very sleep-deprived. First few days had record breaking heat up in the mountains and I struggled with keeping hydrated. It seemed no matter how much I drank I was very dehydrated. At day 4 the temperature dropped from 30C to 8C! Then it was so easy to walk with 27 kg on my back. Enjoy!
Your incredible work is much akin to instrumental music...without words, we are left to our own individual response...that which we contain floats to the surface...
For me, the closing scene brought huge questions of "What am I doing here? I am not like the others".

My work days are filled with hours of driving in horrendous traffic near Atlanta, Georgia. Then 9 hours at the office in a stressful environment. Your videos take me to a place where the air is sweet and clean and there are forests full of spicy evergreen scent. I long for some nature and I need to write myself a prescription for it! But if I heard wolves at night, whew, I would be awake a Lot lol.

I am happy that you now have enough spoons, and are now proficient in pitching tents of many designs and variety. Truly I tell you, there is no more you need to learn there, and we are all at peace that you will never be without proper shelter again.
I am even happier to see the beauty of the nature you moved through. I have not been to the northlands above the arctic circle in many years, and it makes me want to go again, but unfortunately the time of year is past. I remain in the northern forests, and seek my paths there until the time is right once more.
I don't miss the insect life, I remember it without much fondness.
The quality of video is good, and the cinematography is excellent. Audio did well, and thank you once again for not inflicting "music" upon unsuspecting fans who only ever want to think well of you.
You have an excellent eye for colour and presentation. You are highly proficient at lighting in static and zoom to lead effects, presentation, and it makes your videos stand out from tens of thousands. BRAVO!!!

I'm a bushcraft guy as well. I watch a lot of bushcraft videos like Joe robinet, ta outdoors etc... I find your videos the most satisfying for some reason. Thanks for the great content brother. I do really enjoy watching your channel. Kinda puts a busy mans life back into perspective.

I think...it had ''you'' written all over it, your filming and the natural sound left us to our own thoughts and feelings. The sequence next to the waterfall, for me was wonderful The noise, the power and the cleanliness of the water. Thank you as always for sharing your time with us and also taking the time to record it. truly a beautiful country but I don't know whether I could cope with the mosquitoes. The final scene in the airport I found quite poignant in that everyone was rushing here and there, and yet you were calm contemplating the five days of beautiful, free nature you has witnessed. Finally getting around to this one. That reminds me a lot like Alaska, especially the mosquitoes but looks very similar. Nice to see the other gear you need for this trip. The airport scene I enjoyed as well - quite a change to the modern world!!! Nice!

I have been to Sweden several times and I will not get tired of returning to this beautiful country again and again, but the host of mosquitoes and midges were a real test for me, especially in Sarek. At home I have an apiary and I constantly regretted that I did not take my special suit with me :)
Yes you need nets if you want to eat to be able to open your mouth without them flying in lol. It's the svidare. (Don't know the english name). The mosquitoes are nothing in comparison. Thanks for watching!
