Came across your podcast because of Jake’s channel, I’m looking to venture out into the exterior cleaning business early next year it’s going to be a risk as I’m currently in a secure but unfulfilling job. Ive been self employed before so I understand the pitfalls in that. I’ve got ideas and I’m starting a plan as to how to start and build the business. I’ve got a channel that’s is monetised so I’m wanting to use my main channel to give a more behind the scenes experience of business life for my current subs and then create a new channel to narrow the niche into the cleaning experience but not looking forward to the grind of gaining subs and hours again. But my question is What advise would you give to anyone looking to get started into the exterior cleaning business? I’m wanting to cover most bases drives, windows,roofs etc (no hate 😂)
This is a great question. I’ll add it to our list for episodes to go more in depth but my biggest bit of advice would be to fully commit. For example, dont buy a cheap electric pressure washer to start driveway, invest into a petrol machine and start as you mean to go on.
