Can’t believe I’ve only just watched this. I love hearing the stories, as well as Peters opinion on the criminal justice system and the drug policies concerning the legalisation of drugs that people are currently criminalised for. As a Uni student, it’s nice to hear perspectives on areas I’ve studied. really love these kinds of guests and their stories about the law enforcement and social/political issues. would love to see more like this! keep up the good work!
been watching the pod pretty much since beginning and seen this one crop up on my unwatched and only now have i watched and ive gotta say this was such an interesting one. loved how relaxed this pod was interms of your questions and just the general chat of it, usually when guests are on pods you get the feel that the hosts are feeling nervous and some guests can be hard to get anything out of. but this was the complete opposite, he was so open and detailed in his responses and your questions and general interactions with him almost felt like you were all really good mates, would love to see him on the pod again. what a legend of a man, keep up the great work gents, this is easily one of the best guest pods youve done
My dad worked in the prison service and has the exact same opinion regarding drugs. I think when you see how society works around drugs, the consequences and where the crime comes from, it makes complete sense. For people take drugs to distract from other things, they need help not a prison sentence! Loved this episode!!
Back in the day The Yorkshire Ripper came to Manchester. My Dad had a pub near the nick, lots of CID and local coppers came there for a beer, dad a Londoner got to know plenty of them. As a youngster I would meet them having a beer after time.."A T" I grew up with the cop's knowing me very well, they were always good with me and told me how I should live my life and lifestyle...The CID were on the Ripper case....an interesting and very good way to grow up...I'm not saying I was the best, I did have problems but there advice to me helped me on a number of occasions...I'm an oap now without any criminal convictions...Thank Dad RIP...thanks to the Bill too...Mr Blakesley you're a star and should be listened too...
I’ve watched this several times. Because the legend that is Peter Blexley is such a brilliant story tell I could watch it another 200 times. I’m imagining him on jakonory
Mate hands down best podcast I've watched in a while, I've watched both of your podcasts with Peter what a man. It's good to see a lad from my high school doing well also, always good to see 🙏well done Jack and all your team you're smashing it. Awesome stuff. Take care bud.
Peter is a legend 🙌 . He is awesome 👌 so much to offer. Best stories. I am here after watching the most recent one a sec ago. So nice to hear an ex police officer talking about drug reform. Much respect!!!!!!! Thanks Jaackmaate 😊 fab podcast x
Besides the audio levels, this interview was fantastic. I hope this got sorted for the second podcast with Peter, bc I could listen to him for hours on end. ❤
to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the happy hour podcast; BUT this podcast in particular was spectacular - in terms of having someone whose seen both sides of law. And has formulated his own righteous opinion on which direction society should go w/ drug reform.
I have hated police for many different reasons my whole life. I could never be friends with this guy but he is truly the most open down to earth copper ive evee witnessed. Thankyou Peter for BEING YOURSELF...
this was so interesting. i usually don’t care for youtuber podcasts but i’ve been following this one since the first episode and each episode is amazing. the guests you bring on are class. keep it up boys :)
What. A. Guy. Also love watching someone be interviewed by a person/people that are genuinely interested and engaged in the conversation and not just reading a list of questions. Feel like Jack has hit his stride with the interviewing now.
First podcast I actually enjoyed!! Brilliant story and everyone worked well to add something different. Keep it up. Also when is the 50 days fitness vid????
@9:13 “riots that have never been seen in the uk before”... Belfast riots started in 1968 and brought with it the invention of rubber bullets and armour plated land rovers. For over 30 years riots continued between the British army/police and the people of Northern Ireland. I think that beats a riot that happened in one evening.
Good point. You would think having a hit out on you by most likely the uda or the ira would would open your eyes to what is going on in the north of Ireland
get him on again hes funny and has good stories and tells them in a great way
hands down best happy hour podcast
you are in luck hes the next podcast

Peter has the perfect voice for a action movie.
Ellie Bassett 99.9% agree😂
He voices a programme

Peter is literally the kind of person you’d picture in your head when you hear “British detective”
That might be because he is a British detective, but idk
Nah mate veria is better in every way 😉😂
Columbo is literally the kind of person I’d picture in my head when I hear “American Detective”.

He's right about decriminalization of drugs should have happened years ago.
